Dandelion interiors - a testimony Without Liz managing this project it would be nowhere near finished by now. To say she managed it is to underestimate the way she grabbed it by the throat, shook it until it rattled and prodded and pushed it all the way from conception to completion. She is so much more than an interior designer. She thinks, plans, researches and suggests - if invited - options for everything from choice of architect and builder, to wall positions and door openings. And that’s before you even start on fabrics and paints and getting down to solving tricky curtain problems and trimmings on cushions. Because she thinks so hard, you don’t have to. However she is also totally collaborative and works with you on your own ideas or lets you spring off her suggestions to develop them and make them your own. Her technical experience is now such that she occupies a middle ground between architectural and interior design. She can CAD model rooms, staircases, cupboards as well as create mood boards of paints, fabrics and art. With recycling in mind, she masterminded existing shelves and cupboards being re-versioned rather than replaced, and whisked away tired furniture to have the wood bits restored and the cushions recovered. We are especially pleased with the large steel windows and doors that she sourced herself when I was ready to agree aluminium ones, and with the wooden shutters in the study - we love them. We are delighted with our finished project. It is far better, more special and more professional than it would have been without Liz’s input. She is the link between all the different aspects of a building project that ties it all together. I will be forever grateful for her brilliant work, kindness and patience -and for her indefatigable work ethic!

Fantastic ideas, really listened, simple solutions as well as bigger picture. Very professional and all three jobs were completed efficiently and quickly with beautiful results. From creating better space and flow in a room to a wealth of knowledge of fabric, wallpaper, lighting, furniture, etc I felt guided and well looked after throughout. Liz has managed to create a coherent and welcoming space in each of the rooms she has re fashioned for us. I really appreciate the care she took to use what we already had and her skill in sensing how to show each piece to better advantage ( one example was to swap rugs from one room to another, which has somehow brought more light and warmth into each room). But the real joy has been the feeling that together we have selected absolutely the right fabric and design of curtain and upholstery for the style of the house and the way we live in it. I have felt involved in the whole process and enjoyed it far more than I ever thought was possible. I thoroughly recommend Dandelion Interior design and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Liz took time to really understand our design requirement and then provided us with some excellent options in a very timely and efficient way. Our circular room has been transformed to universal acclaim! More importantly, we really feel at home in it now and enjoy using it. Thank you Liz!

I engaged Dandelion’s services for the redesign of my kitchen. Liz’s keen eye for colour was so welcome after my own colour choices left the kitchen feeling dull.
