We modernised an existing playroom in the barn to make it into the family sitting room. The garden shed at the end of the barn was incorporated into the living area and has become a wet room, kitchenette and stairs up to the wonderful, 13 meter-long study where its owner finds the peace to write.
The link between the house and the barn is now dry and provides lots of useful and attractive storage.
Outside the sitting room is a terrace with wisteria-clad pergola, beautifully lit to make the most of long summer evenings.
We improved the drive and the paths leading to the house, putting in more lovely lighting and making it easier to access with a wheelchair.
