As a designer I have successfully collaborated with Triond on numerous jobs. They have a large crew and can handle jobs from the smallest bathroom to whole house remodels and additions. They will stay on time and on budget. There will always be a project manager assigned to the job so the communication is clear and timely. So this is my experience working with Gilad on the project for my Grandma's garage conversion project. I knew how important it was to make the space wheelchair accessible for my grandmother, but I was worried about staying within our budget. From our first conversation, the TRIOND team understood what we needed. We went through several floor plans together until we found one that worked perfectly. They installed new electrical throughout, added windows, added, bathroom, three bedrooms, and 2 bathroom and the wheelchair-accessible shower my Grandma needed. I was so impressed with how they created smooth transitions for her wheelchair and clearance for it through the house The structural challenges were difficult, but their project manager Gilad was amazing at finding solutions that didn't break the bank. He even took on a designer role, helping us pick out all the finish materials within our allowances budget plan. We hired TRIOND Remodeling and Design to do a complete renovation of our second primary bathroom and were so pleased with the experience working with them in the design process that we decided to also hire them to do renovations on the rest of our entire second floor. From the start, PJ did a really good job listening to what our goals were and helping us think through what all the options could be based on our needs and our budget. He even climbed up into a narrow space in our attic and found a way to look down in behind the walls to see what we had for it infrastructure behind our tub so that we could determine if it would be viable to convert the tub to just a nice big walk-in shower. With all of his help before we even got started, we were able to determine that we would be able to convert our tub shower into just a larger and more modern-looking walk-in shower. PJ impressed us with how thoroughly he explained the different phases of the process and set us up for a consultation meeting with our interior design team lead, Nadja. Nadja was super friendly and professional. She helped us plan out details prior for our finish materials and presented everything in clear documentation. The 3-D renderings of what things were going to look like with all of our finished material selections were really helpful to see before we moved forward with purchasing anything. Right from the start with the construction team showing up, PJ and the senior foreman, Ernesto, did an amazing job laying down protective materials all through the entryway on our hardwood floors and all the way up the stairs to make sure that our home was protected while they were doing any of the construction. Ernesto and the rest of the construction team were also really great to work with. Ernesto was extremely polite And knowledgeable as well as very professional, always on time and the quality of their work was fantastic. Once we saw how well things were going, we expanded the scope to include having them redo all of the carpet in our hallway upstairs as well as repainting and redoing all the finishes on the electrical in the upstairs hallway. We also had them remove all of the Carpets and flooring in the three bedrooms upstairs. Then they replaced all the flooring with new material. They also painted all three rooms and redid the electrical fixtures to modernize them. They also replaced a number of broken window cranks throughout the house. Everything we had them do was install a new fan in the attic space to help circulate the air and keep the house temperature regulated better. As someone who grew up with a dad that was in the construction industry I know that any construction problem can run into unexpected situations. That’s par for the course. However, I found it very easy to work with PJ and his team to figure out the solutions and make sure that we solve them properly. We chose to go with TRIOND and we are glad that we did. We hired TRIOND to remodel our bedroom and bathroom (~600 sq ft) on a challenging hillside property, with the goal of transforming it into a true primary suite. After interviewing 4–7 contractors in the SF Bay Area, TRIOND stood out immediately largely thanks to PJ, our project manager. His deep knowledge of San Francisco homes, combined with a thoughtful and thorough approach, gave us confidence from the start. He asked questions no other contractor did and even returned with the Senior Foreman, Ming, to ensure an accurate quote before moving forward—something no other company offered. One thing that set TRIOND apart was their team structure. Having a front office to coordinate appointments and a clear point of contact at every phase made the process feel well-supported, not just a “one-man operation.” The quote we received from TRIOND was in the middle range compared to others. Some were significantly higher, and a couple lower. But PJ’s detailed understanding of our uneven floors and unique space made us feel confident that their estimate was realistic. We weren’t just paying for the remodel we were paying for peace of mind, expertise, and a full team dedicated to doing it right. The remodel took around four months, and there were no major hiccups with permitting or construction, testament to TRIOND’s solid planning and execution. Communication was strong throughout, with a dedicated group chat to keep everyone aligned. Valeria and Victoria from the office were incredibly helpful, making sure our questions were answered and walking us through each payment milestone with clarity. One thing we would do differently... We initially opted out of the designer package, thinking the project was straightforward. But when it came to finishes and layout details, we realized we needed that extra support. Thankfully, TRIOND helped us connect with a designer mid-project, which made a big difference. Ming, the Senior Foreman, was exceptional. His attention to detail, care, and thoughtful recommendations really shaped the outcome. It was clear he took pride in the work and genuinely cared about us loving the finished space. Weekly progress check-ins kept things moving, and his guidance on sourcing materials was spot on. As we neared the end, we appreciated how the whole TRIOND team—PJ, Ming, Gilad (the owner), and Jefferson (the Jr. PM)—rallied around us to ensure everything met our expectations. We even ended up expanding the scope with new cabinets, a front door, recessed lighting, and more, because the work was going so well. In the end, we’re thrilled with the results and would absolutely work with TRIOND again. They delivered on their promises, brought in a fantastic team, and turned our vision into a space we truly love. Highly recommend for anyone remodeling in the SF area.

We chose TRIOND to remodel our kitchen and we are very happy with it! The design phase was great. Our designer, Nadja, helped us select and source all the finish materials easily and we love the look as well as the functionality. Ming was our foreman and did a great job leading the construction team on-site. They were very knowledgeable and helped solve any little things that came up very easily. Our kitchen remodel with TRIOND was a deeply disappointing experience plagued by mismanagement, poor communication, and subpar work quality. After being assigned multiple different contractors despite requesting Gilad specifically, we faced a cascade of issues throughout the project. The work quality was consistently problematic. Our cabinet installation resulted in unnecessary soffits due to poor coordination, and the countertop fabrication showed clear inexperience. Rather than addressing these issues, TRIOND attempted to have us sign a liability waiver that would cover "all past and future dissatisfactions related to the project," which we refused. Project management was chaotic. Timeline mismanagement led to cancelled appliance orders and higher repurchase costs. Basic tasks were left incomplete, including proper electrical work and cleanup. Our home was left in disarray during construction, and poor trade sequencing resulted in damaged cabinets requiring rework. We had to handle numerous tasks ourselves, from microwave installation to sourcing under-cabinet lighting. TRIOND's business practices were equally concerning. They clearly undersold costs to secure the contract and consistently deflected responsibility to vendors. Their communication was unreliable, regularly missing scheduled calls and being unresponsive during urgent situations. The company displayed obvious gender bias, directing communications only to my husband while dismissing me. When their new CEO Stephan was brought in to resolve issues, he maintained the same dismissive attitude and attempted to have us sign an NDA to prevent sharing our experience. Their promised 45-60 day timeline proved completely inaccurate (over a year from engagement was reality), and their poor vendor relationships resulted in substandard work throughout. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend TRIOND Construction. Their combination of poor project management, substandard work quality, unprofessional communication, and concerning business practices resulted in a stressful and unsatisfactory renovation experience.

Working with Stephen at Triond was an absolute blessing! His expertise in home remodeling is truly unmatched. He broke down every aspect of the project, from scope to pricing, in a way that was incredibly clear and easy to understand. Even though we decided to go a different route, Stephan's professionalism and understanding were truly commendable. If you're considering a remodel, I can't recommend Stephan and Triond enough!

Although we did not ultimately decide to hire Triond for our renovation project, the quoting process with them was excellent. PJ was very responsive and thorough with his evaluation and provided a highly detailed and well-structured bid. He provided multiple excellent references and instilled tremendous faith in the quality of their work. One good little tidbit I picked up from the references was that their tile setting is top-notch but also runs a little high on cost. That said, in my opinion, this is one area you do not want to skimp on as poorly installed tile not only looks bad but will ultimately have to be regrouted or replaced entirely far sooner than well-done work. Also, having a top-level tile setter on call is pretty great as they can be hard to find and schedule.

We did a large remodel on our home including a full garage conversion which required excavating down multiple feet to add a new bathroom, multipurpose room, laundry area, storage areas, and redo the car area of the garage. We also added square footage upstairs by expanding and completely remodeling the kitchen. Additionally, we added a new spiral staircase to allow access from the top floor to the bottom. PJ and the TRIOND team came in to do the work. With the support of the TRIOND in-house design team we explored different options and decided on all of our finish materials. The design team also provided highly realistic 3D rendering to show us exactly what the end result would look like before we made final decisions and purchased anything. The end result looks just like the renderings of the design and we are happy with it. We did run into some unanticipated issues, mainly with our retaining wall which was critical because we live on a rather steep hill. PJ worked with the engineer and architect to help answer our questions and get the project on the right path forward. PJ was available even outside regular hours and went above and beyond in multiple ways. He was communicative in the WhatsApp groups and provided pictures & videos to help us stay in the loop on what was happening. I would gladly recommend PJ for your home remodel & design projects in SF.

We hired TRIOND to do an entire kitchen remodeling in our condo unit in our apartment in Nob Hill They did a fantastic job of coordinating the different tradespeople from demolition to completion, protecting the floors, and being respectful to our neighbors in the building. We needed to find a contractor that understands the San Francisco code and can deliver stuff on time, and we are thrilled with the result. We will Where we’re done use them again for future projects!
