Matriarch Construction

Within a year of purchasing our first home, we had a major leak that resulted in us needing to renovate the entire second floor. I had already done some of the leg work to find individual teams for the beginning of the work we needed done but quickly realized I needed help. I wanted to find a woman-owned GC company that I could trust and would help guide me thru the process. Lori, Justin, Nicole and team did an amazing job from start to finish. They were able to work with my budget with transparency and honesty and the communication was excellent. The team was prompt, worked well within the time frame and was there every step I needed them. The work was great and anything we may have noticed was immediately addressed. We’ve already had some other minor things go wrong with the rest of the house and they are fantastic with connecting me with the right people. We loved them so much we’re in the process of doing a bathroom reno with them! 10/10 will definitely use again (for all of our upcoming projects… and there are lots!)

As a first-timer for a big renovation project (kitchen), I was nervous about the process. Lori, Amanda, and Justin from Matriarch were amazing collaborators and ensured that everything - large and small - was taken care of all within the original timeline they gave for the project. I was particularly (and pleasantly) surprised by the level of communication from the team - always responding within hours and being clear and honest, even when it was about unexpected challenges. I also appreciated the consideration they had for our budget and never tried to "upsell" us on anything, while also ensuring we ended up with really great quality.

We had Matriarch Construction finish our basement, with custom built-ins, another heated/cooled zone and a bathroom, it looks fantastic and was done within the time frame we were quoted. The new rooms are finished so nicely it doesn't ever seem like a basement down there. The project lead, Justin, was awesome and on site almost every day there was work being done. The whole Matriarch team had good recommendations for the design decisions and layout. I would definitely call them again for another large project on my home.

Working with Lori, Amanda, & Justin has been awesome! When calling with questions they always get back to me as soon as possible. Lori & Amanda are extremely hands on. Their attention to detail is what is needed when working on projects. Glad to be in their hands.

Kitchen remodel and 2 Bathroom remodels I had the pleasure of working with Matriarch Construction to remodel my kitchen and 2 bathrooms and they exceeded our expectations. "Received daily emails regarding progress and/or upcoming information/meetings. Quick response/resolution to any concerns/changes requested. Clear breakdown of allowances/estimates, including any change orders. Friendly, and reliable from start to finish. Which is a huge comfort for a family having work done in their home - especially with young kids. Great follow through with open items at the end of the job. Did not have any issues getting them to come back to finish even the smallest items. Outstanding service. Thank you Matriarch!
