Bill and his team transformed the yard into a playground paradise for our kids, while still implementing features that allow adults to kick back and relax. Bill and his team installed a multi-tiered level yard, patio, hillside slide, obstacle course on the bottom part of the yard, and constructed a new deck. They landscaped and sourced all the plantings and beds. *Thorough - Provost Companies was one of 4 companies from which we received a bid. We worked with a separate landscape architect who has over 20 years of experience and the architect commented it was the most thorough, detailed bid he had ever seen. Bill listened to our goals during the first meeting and built a scope that met our needs. He followed up after the estimate to see if we had questions. *Professional - Provost Companies has a culture that is clearly led by Bill, who founded the company. Everyone who came to work here was polite, respectful, knowledgable about the project, and friendly. The crew cares about the work. Crew would follow up on work they had completely previously to make sure we were pleased. *Communicative - Bill set up weekly 1:1 calls with us to check in on the project. As necessary, these were in person. This allowed us to discuss project activities or adjustments proactively. We always felt 'in the know.' *Honest - This came up particularly when it came to construction of a new deck. The prior deck could have remained, but Bill provided us a 'pro' 'con' list objectively to guide our decision. We ultimately chose to have Bill's team build a new deck. We are thrilled with this decision. The deck construction was completed incredibly well and Bill scoped the deck materials to ensure we could later 'screen it in' if we so choose. *Trustworthy - We knew the project was being completed with fidelity and a high sense of craftsmanship. “Coolock Construction put in an air conditioning return vent that had been left out by an earlier contractor. They were responsive, polite, and did excellent work. They were thoughtful about where to place the return vent so as to give the AC enough air to pull in, and went so far as to recognize, before I did, that the hole in the inside of the drywall should be painted the same color as the wall to eliminate the dark open space you can see through the vent slats. I am using them again for other small jobs I have around my town house in the city.”
