I cannot praise Vimaa enough for her professionalism, attention to detail and her eye for completely transforming a space into something new and amazing!! She is a joy to work with and completely exceeded our expectations! Our hotel lobby was outdated and cluttered. It is now BEAUTIFUL, sleek and elegant while still practical and guest friendly! We are absolutely thrilled with her work!

World-class kitchen renovation; on time, on budget. Our condo is a fixer-upper that's getting tackled one project at a time. We ordered up half a dozen quotes from local kitchen reno companies, and most seemed keen to blow past our budget by $20k or more without breaking a sweat. VMA Design Build and their wonderful team are in a league all their own when it comes to customer consultation. We started working together with a budget in mind, and they saw to our every need - providing options and flourishes that pulled our kitchen out of the 80s without breaking the bank. Best of all was their communication. We had to navigate a few HOA challenges, and VMA Design Build was ready and able to thread that needle with us. The project was completed faster than expected, and we are now enjoying a fabulous new kitchen that's already added value to our condo. Highly recommend VMA Design Build's services.

We just wrapped up our kitchen, den, and half bath remodel with VMA Design Build, and it was a bit of a mixed bag. On the upside, the materials sourced through their vendors were top-notch, and having someone coordinate the chaos of a remodel was nice. However, it wasn't all smooth sailing. VMA has gone through 4 admin assistants in the time we've been dealing with them, which made communication challenging at times. Plus, VMA's punctuality wasn't their strong suit. One thing that bugged us was the lack of design input. We were left feeling like DIY designers with minimal guidance from VMA. When it came to picking fixtures and appliances, we were basically left to fend for ourselves. While the main work crew was punctual, decent, and respectful, there were some hiccups with subcontractors. The plumbing and electrical workers weren't as attentive to detail, and some of our very specific requests, like a new (electric) fireplace, didn't get addressed by VMA at all. Overall, the end result is decent, but the journey could've been smoother with clearer communication and more attention to detail from VMA.

The new kitchen looks wonderful! The work was done in a reasonably timely fashion. The workers were friendly and competent. And the ultimate cost was less than the projected cost. I will definitely use VMA Design Build for any future projects!!

Vimaas design ideas were great. I had been struggling with my family room for a while and now it’s nearly complete. I would give it 5 stars but there was some struggle for a bit during high season (during/ after COVID) where I feel like my project got put to the side because of bigger projects/ clients. All in all, a good experience.

Hiring Vimaa was the best decision I made after buying a new house and relocating to Lamorinda. She has a great crew who really cares about the details, and has a great capacity to combine an endless patience towards clients with a capacity crystallize someone’s ideas into a cohesive vision. I considered her an ally during my project, and continue to do so now.

The result speak for itself - amazing! I worked with Vimaa and her team in early 2021 on a complete renovation of our older home before it went to market. Vimaa came in as I was halfway through a kitchen remodel (partly done myself, partly by a previous contractor). It wasn't the easiest job to start as it wasn't a blank canvas, there were budget constraints, etc. but she was able to work with that and provide great design options. Needless to say, we went with her design not just for the kitchen but for the entire home (she and her crew completely renovated 2 bathrooms, opened walls and fixed older, broken doors, leveled and replaced floors, changed all fixtures, etc.). It was a brand new house when we walked in and shockingly beautiful. The work was done well and quickly - far faster than I expected based on previous contractor experiences. I'll applaud her team as they were very professional and diligent. At the end of the project, we had a home that we really wanted to keep, but after the sale was completed, we were glad we didn't. We easily had a 2x ROI and would definitely recommend and work with Vimaa again.

Vimaa did our entire downstairs remodel and master bath, closet, loft, remodel. She exceeded our expectations and handled all the challenges to be expected with our current COVID world (shipping delays, out of stock items, sudden price changes due to demand) with grace and ease. Constantly re-evaluating current design plans to reallocate budget and accommodate hard deadlines. In the end, the project turned out to be wildly successful, much better than what we could have hoped for and we absolutely love our space. It’s incredibly inviting and never did we expect to be so happy we literally never want to leave our home to travel anymore. Vimaa balances customer satisfaction above all else with a critical eye for details with functional design. It’s aesthetically pleasing with sound functional design. 10/10 for Vimaa any day!

My husband and I were facing our third kitchen renovation in as many houses... we had a strong vision for what we wanted but were stymied by a very challenging existing kitchen footprint. We selected Vimaa and her team based on the mind-blowing pictures in her portfolio. We knew her aesthetic would be top notch and were equally blown away by her solving our footprint problem. We were so pleased with Vimaa's problem solving and results that we expanded scope to all the other problem areas of our house. We simply can't recommend Vimaa highly enough. I had a great expirence working with idesign and Organize. I got a island pendant light along with some LED recess lighting installed in my kitchen. The way Juan installed the light was the the best possible outcome for the project. The other 2 contractors that came to look at my project wanted to do a lot of uneccessary cutting and dry wall work which really inflated the price of the project. Juan came in and told me how uneccessary all that would be. He installed the light exactly where i wanted it and it looks clean and beautiful. Any future lighting projects i will be going with idesign and organize.

Vimaa was great. Promptly responded to my request, listened to my fairly vague idea/request, and let me know that anything was possible! Her electrician met with me, conveniently on my next available day off, and came back a few days later and completed the job. Done perfectly and my wife and I couldn’t be happier. We will definitely reach out to her if we have any additional home projects come up.
