Wildco built our ohana/guest house in Makawao in 2017. We were beyond pleased with the professionalism of Ivo and his team! Ivo designed the house for us according to our specifications (which were pretty tight- squeezing 3 bedrooms and 2 baths into 1000 square feet!) He helped us through the onerous and sometimes circuitous permitting process. In addition, he coordinated the clearing and design of the septic fields and new driveway. Ivo and his team also finished the renovation of our main house for us, since we struggled to find good, reliable people for that project - welcome to Maui, where if the surf’s up or if the moon is full, workers don’t show up! Not so for Wildco, however. Ivo and his team are meticulous, reliable, highly skilled, experienced, and knowledgeable. My partner was abroad during most of the 2-year building process, so I (a 40-something female fresh from the Mainland) had to manage most everything. That said, Ivo and his Wildco team were a godsend! I don’t think I could have done it without them (at least not without losing all my marbles!!!) I told my partner if we hadn’t found Wildco, we would probably still be renovating! :-O Highest recommendation!

Wildco built a two-story barn/garage for us in 2011 and a two bedroom cottage in 2013. It was a pleasure to have them working for us. Ivo de Wilde is a true craftsman and an excellent manager. He did a great job of fine-tuning our plans to avoid problems, reduce cost, and improve the design details. His cost estimates were accurate and reasonable and on both projects the work was completed on time and within budget. His crew was very professional and the work was done to the highest quality. We were glad that we had Wildco to do both of these projects and we highly recommend them.

Ivo is a talented contractor who has excellent communication skills & manages a great team. His team are diligent workers & responsive to our questions. What was also important to us is the integrity of his work - by which we mean the quality & that he follows all legal requirements. We would recommend highly him for any type of project.

Ivo DeWilde and his awesome crew built my families home for us in 2014. We were and still are very grateful to have him do this for us. I was new to the island and really struggled to make sense of what to build and who to trust. I had 5 companies bid the project. Ivo's bid was competitive but where his real value stood out was the passion for his craft and the confidence he gave us that our budget was just as important to him as it was to us. This proved true to the very end. In addition, it became clear to us that he didn't just give attention to our project from "9 to 5" No, we could see that he thought a lot about our home and the design changes that were needed or improvements that have made our home well above our expectations. And finally, not only did we get a great product but we gained a friend in the process. To this day when I see his truck driving around the island I still get a smile on my face. :-)

Attention to detail. Transparency and organization of budgets. Professional/courteous manner working with sub contractors and owners. Invested in quality workmanship and end product. Enthusiastic. Maintains a neat and orderly work site.

Ivo not only built but also designed an off the grid house for us that is well suited to the local conditions. He started on time, came very close to being on budget (over-runs mostly being due to our choices), had skilled workers that were a pleasure to be around, and came up with very creative solutions to the problems that inevitably arise during construction. He made sure the worksite was kept clean, and sent us spreadsheets that kept us well informed of the costs as building progressed. We have really enjoyed working with him.

Wildco construction is a great company. Their estimates were accurate, the quality of their work is first class. They are flexible, do not waste time or resources. they completed our jobs within the agreed upon time frame. The peolple are friendly, helpful and customer oriented.

Our house was built with substandard foundation structure and was drooping. Wildco construction came promptly to look at the issue when we called. Ivo DeWilde was courteous and professional and provided many suggestions for a good fix without rebuilding the entire foundation. He provided a quote within 3 days and it was lower than the other 2 quotes that I got. He began work on the day we had agreed upon and completed the job within the promised timeframe. His crew was efficient, respectful, and the whole project went as smoothly as possible. Having dealt with many other contractors for various remodeling projects over the years this was by far my best experience ever.
