This company builds beautiful homes, but they do it at the owner's expense. With a cost + contract, they have a reputation of gouging clients by driving up costs. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Chalet Development treats every client as though he/she is the most important client with their company. From the first meeting to follow up service after a project is completed, my family and many others, are treated as though every question is important and the response time is extremely fast. The quality of a Chalet Development home is beyond my highest expectations.

This is how we feel about John Mattingly and working with Chalet Development. John took a beast of a house and transformed it into our wonderful home. The design process was a learning experience about architecture and design. We feel sincere appreciation for his unfailing commitment to excellence on our behalf. His never ending patience made us feel as though we were more than just a customer. John's genius and honesty are a combination that makes Chalet Development an A+ experience.

Designing and building a home can be very stressful but John, Kacy and the other professionals at Chalet took this worry off the table. They are straightforward in their approach, they listen to what you want, and they ultimately create an amazing home designed with your wishlist and lifestyle in mind. The home was finished on time, on budget, and as promised ...so you cant ask for much more than that. I would highly reccomend using Chalet for your project.

I fell in love with Chalet's work when my husband and I were looking for a new home in Denver and we came across one for sale. After seeing that home, nothing else we looked at even came close to what the Chalet home offered. I made a blind call to Chalet knowing nothing about the building process and whether or not they would even consider us as clients based on our budget. From our first meeting, John and his team listened to exactly what our needs and desires were based on our lifestyle, our budget, and our design taste. Chalet designed and built a home that works around how we live, and every detail was considered. I remember having a specific conversation with John about how our family "operates" in the kitchen in the morning. Now, every morning when I use my prep sink as a "coffee station," far away from the chaos my husband creates with breakfast, I smile and think about how important those details were for us to discuss. And when I look up at the custom-deisgned coffered ceilings in my living room and the gorgeous handmade wooden countertop on my kitchen island, I am SO grateful that we were able to work with a designer and builder with such a passion for creating beautiful homes in Denver.

Chalet Development LLC is remodeling parts of our existing home and building an addition onto it. They created a great design for the overall project, are managing the construction of the project and guide us in the interior design. Building and renovating a home that is so personal to you is stressful. Chalet has reduced much of this inherent stress for us by managing the process very smoothly and being extremely cognizant of what is and is not important to us. We feel like Chalet is a partner, not simply a hired service provider, in our project and we are very excited to see the final product!
