We hired Jim Ogden for a major remodeling project . The design was beautiful, he utilized the space extremely well and he was on site consistently through construction to ensure everything was done right. He help us bid out the project to prequalified builders, found solutions when unexpected challenges arose and guided us through all the choices and details. All in all, the value he provided was exceptional.

We purchased a home in Hilton Head Plantation that was approximately 13 years old, in 2008. We rented it out for 10 years and had never lived in it until retiring to Hilton Head. On our return to Hilton Head in 2013 my wife started crying when she first walked in. I told her not to worry, we had already been in touch with Jim Ogden while we were still in Boise. Jim worked with us hand-in-hand to create exactly what we envisioned while taking the house from the 20th to well into the 21st century. We worked through a series of plans with his input and guiding hand and got more than what we expected. Jim is a very hands on professional that checked-in continuously on the progress of the project and met with general contracts and subs. We also found Jim to have an abundance of exceptional referrals waiting for us for AV and landscaping. An added bonus for us was that Jim is also a very respected resident of Hilton Head Plantation who has served as President of the Architectural Review Board, If we had it to do all over again we would do it the same way with Jim Ogden. We could not be happier in our new home!

Friends recommended James Ogden for a small addition project and we were not disappointed. He designed an addition to our garage which included a staircase to accesses a room over the garage and additional storage. Jim assisted us with the selection of a good general contractor and consistently provided oversight throughout the entire project. He offered wonderful suggestions and we are thrilled with the final outcome.

Jim Ogden was extremely professional and easy to work with. He met with us at our remodel and listened to all of our dreams. He worked miracles and included them in our dream home. He was very detail oriented and kept close track of our project. He was a great member of the team of professionals who worked on our home. I cannot recommend him more highly.

Jim has done two home remodel designs for us. Both were extensive projects that required his involvement from initial ideas and concepts, though design alternatives, architectural plans, permitting, construction bidding, construction selection, construction oversight, and, finally, project completion and ongoing follow up. Each project fulfilled our dreams and remodel objectives. Each was recognized in the architectural community for its contributions to the profession. Along the way Jim was very creative and cost effective in solving the many little problems that are always encountered when involved with major home renovation. Best of all, Jim was a joy to work with and made each project an enjoyable life experience. Donna and I cannot recommend Jim more highly. .

Jim created a terrific addition for my home. His design and management of the project saved me from countless headaches, and the end result has been wonderful.

My husband and I hired Jim Ogden to design our master bathroom and guest bathroom. The project was a complete tear down to the studs and included new floors, walls, and fixtures. Jim developed multiple floor options and we choose the features we liked best and combined two of the options. Since we had decided to stay within the existing space, design that incorporated form, function, and efficiency were paramount. Jim always had an interesting approach to our ideas and his attention to detail is seen in the finished product. He was always pleasant to work with and we can say without hesitation that we were completed satisfied in every respect. Because of that, we have recommended him to others and would do so in the future.
