Struct Restruct

Founded in 2008, STRUCT/RESTRUCT is a full-service design/build studio rooted in the heart of East Lawrence. Owners Matt Jones and Eric Jay both grew up in Newton, Kansas, and have been friends since kindergarten. Eric earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Kansas State University and Matt his B.F.A. degree in Industrial Design from the University of Kansas. Eric spent years designing custom residences in Telluride, CO before moving to Lawrence in 2008 to join Matt, where he established himself as a high-end furniture maker and craftsman. The collaboration of the two, along with their crew of eight, design and build all of their projects, ranging from small shop projects, to large renovations and ground up custom residences. Since the inception of the company, STRUCT/RESTRUCT has completed hundreds of projects in the Lawrence area.
