Katrina is an incredibly talented and detail-oriented architect who has the ability to design across several architectural styles and construction budgets. The process of designing and permitting our dream home with Katrina went so smoothly. She took the time to really understand what our needs were as a family and had so many fantastic ideas to ensure we had an efficient and effective layout that met all code requirements. Her meticulous attention to detail allowed us to obtain our building permit in record time because the reviewers didn't have a single comment or redline on our drawing set!!! Katrina also helped us design an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) on our property and the layout she created is just perfect.

Katrina has the ability to listen and understand your needs and aesthetic, she has the technical ability to provide elegant solutions, she can work with any County to deliver it, and she is amazingly fast and resilient, providing novel and beautiful solutions for your home. She created special moments in our house that make it special, all while managing costs and structural challenges, and delivered a comfortable reworked flow that revolutionized our lives. We had a primary suite remodel that involved moving walls, possibly structural, and need for a total redesign. Katrina reimagined and the new space so sensibly and beautifully that, nearly two years later, I have yet to find anything that needs to be tweaked or feel should have been done differently. People regularly tell me the bathroom is one of the most beautiful, welcoming spaces they've ever seen. I can't recommend StudioHoff highly enough.

Katrina was a dream architect to work with. She listened carefully and really turned our jumbled visions into a beautiful reality. She was thoughtful, responsive, and talented. As first time home builders, we leaned on her expertise and she had such a wealth of knowledge on trends, requirements, code, etc. She was especially great at creating an efficient, unique space for us (with no dead space), which really maximized our living area. I would further argue that it was because of her detailed drawings and expertise that our plans were approved by permitting in a timely fashion with NO notes. We would work with her time and time again. A fantastic architect!

Katrina came recommended by word of mouth and we really enjoyed working with her on renovation plans for our house. We went through a variety of design iterations related to the master bathroom, basement and more. She was always patient and flexible to dig into our ideas and provided the sort of expertise and advice we desired in an architect to avoid poor decisions. It can be a tough balance to strike between wanting a nice feature (e.g. laundry chute) that doesn't doesn't make sense for a particular property or house design. Katrina was also able to provide constructive insight into decisions related to cost such as attempting to keep part of an existing roof versus getting a new roof entirely.

She was able to incorporate everything on our wish list—some of our desires were not conventional at all—giving us a home plan that is modern, beautiful and cool. I have worked with Katrina on 3 different projects now--a bathroom renovation, a new build home, and a full home remodel. All three have been not only amazing and collaborative experiences, but I ended up with beautiful living spaces that also that took full advantage of the space we were working with.
