About our: PAPER - We use performance paper, which is a matte finish wood fiber paper with a premier inkjet coating which is both pigment and dye receptive, making it ideal for handling high-resolution printing. The paper we use dries instantly, is water-resistant and lightfast. It is also 100% acid and lignin free. INK - We print with archival-quality ink which is designed to resist fading and weathering. Our archival ink will also remain fast to the page and exposure to normal amounts of environmental moisture will not cause it to run. PRINT QUALITY - All of our prints are Giclee Prints. The name comes from the French “glicer”, or “to spray”, and refers to the manner in which ink is applied to the paper in microscopic dots. High-resolution images paired with archival quality paper and ink close the circle needed to produce Giclee prints. MOUNT - Once printed, the artwork is mounted on a 1/4 inch foam board to prevent any wrinkling or unevenness. MATS - We use white, white core four-ply mats that allow for an elegant white bevel around the art print, enhancing the image and putting even more focus on the art. GLASS - The 2.5 mm glass we use ensures durability, ease of transport with much less chance of shattering, and also protection for the print itself. FRAMES - We do not use composites, but only wood molding to create frames for our art. The wood is treated for humidity resistance, coated with gesso and high-quality paint. All of our frames are made in-house, by our skilled team. SEALING - Each of our products is sealed with a paper backing which protects the print from dust and humidity. It also puts that finished, gallery quality touch on the product. HOOKS - Our products come ready to hang. For smaller pieces, we use a stainless steel sawtooth hanger, while bigger and heavier artwork gets stainless steel D-rings and plastic coated wire.
