Maven Murals

We love Chichi; she has so much energy and creativity she is a pleasure to be in the same room. We also love the mural that she created in a window well, a waterfall surrounded by trees and with a great blue heron standing in a pool at the bottom. She dis a first draft sketch, we made some suggestions and the result was perfect. You won't be disappointed.

I commissioned Chinon Maria to paint a portrait of myself to be hung in our dining room. The painting needed to be a specific size and I wanted the piece to reflect my interests and "match" the curtains and color scheme of the room. Chinon was very willing to accommodate my tastes and she altered the painting several times until I was satisfied. The final painting exceeds my expectations; she captured my spirit & the sparkle in my eyes! I found her to be very easy to work with and I would absolutely recommend her.

Maven Murals' Chinon is the best person to work with. I deal with a lot of subcontractors, artists and craftsmen and it was really refreshing and fun to have Chinon on the job site! She had a small window to complete her mural but she worked tirelessly even in the rain to complete her project on time. Chinon was very courteous to the other workers, kept her area clean and organized and her enthusiasm for her work was very infectious. I look forward to collaborating on future projects with her.

Chichi is my sister, and I am continually impressed by her work which I have seen evolve from the earliest stages of childhood scribbles to the magnificent artwork that she creates today. Creativity is her vocation, and it is translated in all aspects of her life, not only in her artwork but in her very being. She is a generous soul who brings a smile to everyone that she meets and leaves a lasting impression. My husband and I recently purchased our first home, and we were both immediately excited that our children would each have their own room with virgin walls that were prime game for murals by Chichi! Together with the children we chose themes and color schemes, and put our trust in Chichi to do the rest. The results were absolutely amazing: a graphic underwater world inspired by Miyazaki for our 6 year old, and an enchanted forest at sundown in shades of purple for our 3 year old. The children were extremely touched by Chichi's work, and absolutely love their murals. We are all very proud when showing our house to guests who are always in awe of the originality and beauty of the murals. To have artwork that is so personal and so charged with emotion as part of our home is something that we all greatly treasure. Bravo to my extremely talented sister. This artist is amazing! She was fun and exciting to work with! The process felt very collaborative and that made the mural all the more special, personal and unique. Her style is magical, with vibrant colors, and scenes that come alive in front of your eyes. She listened to all of my ideas and thoughts on the mural and then created a piece of work that is beautiful, meaningful, and inspiring to live with every single day! I can't recommend her enough!

We hired Chi Chi at Maven Murals for a full-room mural in our daughter's room. Not only was her work beautiful and inventive, she was also very tidy and respectful of our home. Thanks to friends' recommendations we were able to trust her completely in our home while the mural was being installed. The owner of this company did a portrait of my cousin and gave it to her as a present. It looks exactly like her. If you held the portrait up next to my cousin, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
