Sidney Hutter

Sidney Hutter Glass & Light was formed in 1987 by glass artist, Sidney Hutter. From his Newton, MA studio, Sidney designs and fabricates functional and decorative, sculptural glass objects. Over the years Sidney has developed a sophisticated and refined practice of cutting, polishing and laminating plate glass using ultraviolet adhesive and specialty pigments. His work demonstrates a unique intersection between art and technology. His sculptural, fine art work is on display in glass galleries throughout the country and is included in numerous private, corporate and museum collections including the White House Craft Collection. Sidney has recently designed a new line of Home Decor objects that combine his fine art aesthetic with the addition of function and illumination.
