Design Draft Construct - a boutique Melbourne-based architectural drafting and design practice - offers solutions that take a modern, fresh approach to designing spaces. Architectural draftsperson, Norelle Maroun established Design Draft Construct in 2018. Norelle has more than 22 years of experience in residential building design in Melbourne and across Victoria after completing a Diploma of Building Design & Drafting at Victoria University in 1998. She started off working for a Structural Engineer where she was poached by a high-end custom home builder. During this time, she learnt not only the most cost-effective ways to design and build but also living her design. Norelle, her husband Maroun and two children are now in their third owner-built home. During Norelle’s time with the builder many of her clients were family members of previous clientele along with the tradesmen who built their homes. It’s a testament to the quality of her designs and the understanding of each client’s needs. Design Draft Construct takes a hands-on approach - project managing the entire design process from developing the initial concepts through to selecting paint colours, window and floor coverings, furniture, artwork to even landscaping.
