We’ve worked with Brenlo for several years, but the service quality has steadily declined—particularly with custom door orders. What used to be a reliable supplier relationship has turned into an ongoing source of frustration, delays, and miscommunication. Nearly every recent custom order has gone far beyond the original promised lead times, often by several weeks. Despite placing orders with a clear 6–8 week timeline, we consistently find ourselves chasing updates, only to learn at the last minute that the lead time has shifted to 10–12 weeks or more. What’s most disappointing is that these changes are almost never communicated proactively. Instead, we're forced to follow up repeatedly, and the standard response is always the same: “Sorry, there was a miscommunication,” or “We failed to update you on the lead time.” These explanations come after deadlines have already passed, with no concrete solutions offered. In construction, delays like this don’t just affect one order—they affect the entire project schedule. Doors are a critical item, and when they’re delayed, other trades are held back, costs increase, and our clients bear the impact. We’ve raised our concerns many times, in writing and over the phone, but little has changed. There seems to be no accountability for the recurring breakdowns in planning and communication. It’s clear that internal operations are not aligned with client expectations, and that is a major problem for any business in the construction industry. Used this company for all our doors and trims for two new house builds. Spent over $40,000. Down to finishing our basement and our sales rep left the company. Dealt with another and shortly after he left. Ordered material and was short shipped one item and over shipped another. It was three months of back and forth, the promise of a discount on my next order, pick up and drop off of miss shipped items....... after everything, its too late for pick up so now I have to pay for the short shipped items and am stuck with the over shipped. Called several times and even e-mailed the owner Fraser. NOTHING!!!!! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!! The WORST customer service ever. Had many little defects in our doors as well. Not happy. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone!!!

I have been using Brenlo trims and doors for over 10 years and every time the service, price and quality are been excellent. Now Todd helped my choose the perfect trim and doors for my new home that best suited the design and concept I wanted. Todd was a very big help to me. I would recommend Brenlo to anyone that wants service and quality and GREAT advise too!!
