“Housewright is more than a construction company; they are a partner. In 2021, they built us a new kitchen in our 1850's farmhouse, working with the challenges of an old house in which there are no straight lines, only surprises. We had engaged an architect who designed intricate cabinetry and was experimenting with new materials; the team at Housewright collaborated beautifully with him. Key to the success of a complex project like this is communication and in this aspect also, the team was outstanding; on weekly calls and in between as needed, they kept us up-to-date, helped us sort through decisions and insured we always knew the cost and time ramifications of decisions. We moved out of the house to another state to make way for the work, making just a few visits during the project. When we returned to the finished kitchen, my husband said in amazement, "who lives here?!" It was -- and remains -- so beautiful and so well crafted. Since the completion of the project, the Housewright team continues to be my partner. As things beyond the kitchen go bump in the night, I call on them to help and they are always there for me, tackling small and large projects.
