If I were to do stones over again we would go another route. We have a number of cracks and chips, especially on porch steps, in just short of two years. There is a lifetime warranty they say. We used Hart Stones installer and it is costly to have stones pulled and replaced. Labor is not guaranteed. It stains and we were told not to power wash so it just is very hard not to let it turn a dirty tan. We should have gone with another material.

Peggy, there is a lifetime warranty on the tile and all of Hartstone. I would love to stop by and look at the deck and the steps. I will replace them all and work with the installer to make this all happen.

On the cleaning if it had been sealed nothing then cleaning is very easy. We don't recommend power washing in that if someone gets really aggressive then you can hurt the surface but I power wash mine all the time.
