We are a consolidated team of designers and builders specializing in award-winning residential homes situated in highly sustainable communities. Our Integrated Design Build Model -IDB- will allow us to maximize your budget and optimize your resources, demonstrating to impart a highly efficient and cost-effective model of completing projects on-time and on-budget. Our experience includes four of the most sustainable master planned communities in North America; in the US and Mexico, and Canada. In all of these projects, the principals of Scala, Ari Cota and/or Doug Makaroff, have worked closely with the Trust for Sustainable Development, who are the joint venture partners with the Beecher Bay First Nation, at Spirit Bay. We have completed the design and construction of well over 750 homes and condos, and more than 100,000 sq. ft. of commercial space in the communities of Loreto Bay (Baja, Mexico), Civano (Tucson, AZ), Shoal Point (Victoria, BC), and Spirit Bay (Metchosin, BC). This broad-ranging experience has given us unique skills and technologies for managing projects from the initial design and planning stage, right through to completion and move-in.
