I work with a home owner like a general contractor but instead of shopping only sub contractors I shop for the projects expensive materials/equipment to get the best deal possible on the highest quality materials/equipment. I find, they purchase with 0% or minimal mark up, and I install. I've found a gap in construction where I can educate a customer about costs vs reward. And in turn finding a way to get them a little of both.
