Al is a great guy, and helped us every step of the way. Volunteered to come to stores with us to help us pick colors and materials several times, and finished the job quickly and efficiently for a fair price. In the 9 months or so since the job was finished, he has come twice to fix minor issues even though we've already paid. Work guaranteed and we LOVE our kitchen.

First of all, Al is a real pleasure to work with and was the easiest contractor to deal with that we have ever encountered. If all contractors were like Al we wouldn't be nearly as hesitant about doing home improvements. He was very easy going and also responsive and sensitive to our specific needs (even if they conflicted with his professional opinion). However, the project did not kickoff quite as quickly as we would have liked but that was not really Al's fault. We went with an architect whose name we got from Al, but who turned out to be extremely slow to complete the designs and very unresponsive. But once we mentioned to Al the issues we were having he did his best to spur the architect, apologized for the problem, and found another architect to take care of any additional issues after we got the initial plans completed. Once we were ready to begin construction Al's team started exactly when planned and overall, the project proceeded in a timely manner. The workers were all very professional and generally neat and courteous. They also went to great lengths not to disturb us in the rest of the house. We installed a large tiled shower with two shower heads and the porcelain tile installation was really nicely done, with two large tiled wall insets for holding shampoo, etc. We had an issue with matching the flooring and floor height between the old part of the bedroom and the new addition and Al was very conscientious about making sure we would be happy with the result. There was a little bit of difficulty communicating with the electrician about some additional electrical work we wanted done, but in the end everything came out fine. Overall, the finished project is beautiful and we love our new big master suite. We would definitely use Al again and highly recommend him and his team. Description of work: Put on a 200 sq ft second story addition to enlarge master bedroom/bath, supported by wooden beams/posts. Also installed two skylights on our covered porch and installed two additional new toilets.

In November, Advance Construction Concepts finished a gorgeous kitchen renovation for me. Al had many terrific design ideas for me(check out that stone back splash) and he finished ahead of schedule! That was a first! His men were very considerate and the workmanship was top notch. Also, he also took down some half walls to open up my living room and dining room, their guys controlled the dust pretty well. Overall, I would rate him A and would recommend him highly.

Outstanding professionals and incredible job. We are very happy we hired Al and Advance Construction Concepts. We remodeled/enlarged our kitchen. The project was completed on-time and on-budget. Outstanding advice and design ideas throughout. We definitely recommend them for anybody in need of remodel for any area of the house.

Everything was done in a pretty quick manner and Al was much more responsive than any other contractor we contacted. His price was definitely the best as well. We are very happy with our kitchen and all of the other work that was done. It is like living in a new house. Al worked with us during the renovation to make sure we could still live in our house while the renovations were being done and make sure we were not stressed out about the house while other stressful things were going on in our lives (unrelated to the house). Description of work: We hired Al to redo our kitchen as well as help us with various smaller projects in the house. In about 4 weeks he knocked down two walls in the kitchen and installed new cabinets, countertops, and appliances as well as a peninsula, removed an old wood fireplace, redid a bunch of electric and gas work that was poorly done in the past and not up to code, installed some lights throughout the house, opened up the walls in our laundry room and bedroom closet, and redid most of the garage walls and ceiling. Our walls were all plaster and chicken wire so it was a lot of work.

Complete home remodel (kitchen, 2x baths, master closet build out, new laundry room and more). Advance Construction Concepts (ACC), led by Al Honavar and his team, are rock solid, honest, professional, and friendly. They perform great work, and the prices that ACC charges are reasonable when compared with quotes received from other contractors. Al and his team are also responsive. Advance Construction Concepts fully remodeled our home. Originally built in the 1960’s, our townhouse was renovated once in the 1990s. The ACC team worked with us to design a complete gut job and remodel, including a new kitchen, two full bathrooms, chaining a wood-burning fireplace to gas, a closet build-out in the master bedroom and more. The two bathrooms were complete remodels with walls changing location and in one case moving a door to add usable square footage. Our project also included new electrical, new plumbing, adding recessed lights, and putting heating tile flooring in the basement. ACC did a fantastic job, and the work delivered was about 20-30% less expensive than quotes provided by other companies. The only cost increases were when we chose higher end products and fixtures. Al and his team are always looking to help maximize cost savings but he did like the way the higher-end finishes turned out! Everything made our lives easier and more efficient for the operations of our home. I hold Advance Construction Concepts in the highest regard and would recommend them to anyone looking to rebuild or remodel your home. Al and his team will help you through design and build keeping your future needs and finances in mind. They deliver work that is high quality and are a friendly bunch of folks as well. Exceeds expectations.

Advance just finished a main floor refresh for us and it went great. Al (owner of Advance) was very hands on from the very beginning and delivered on every promise he made. He quoted us a 3 week time frame to do a very big kitchen remodel, which he stuck to. He doesn't operate a showroom, which I believe keeps his cost down (his quote was 20-30% cheaper than quotes provide by re-modelers with showrooms). The price was very reasonable for what was done. We ended up going with stock cabinets but very high end quartz counter tops and marble back splash (also KitchenAid SS appliance which they installed, but we bought separately). The job also included complete demo of our existing kitchen, all new electrical, new plumbing, new recessed lights, a new large window over the sink, a removal of a load bearing wall, and a complete reconfiguration of the kitchen. With so much going on we were expecting the worst but got the best - the job went flawlessly. I highly recommend Advance and think you would be remiss if you don't give them a shot. They were cheaper than virtually all other quotes and delivered quality that surprised our very high expectations.

Al and the Advance Construction Concepts team are honest, professional, and absolutely amazing! It does not matter the type of job or dream you have, Al can make it happen. I lived in a studio condo and really wanted to maximize space. Al redesigned the entire space to make it not only more modern, but more efficient as well. Everyone who came into my house was blown away by what Al was able to accomplish. I highly recommend Advance Construction Concepts!
