We collaborated with Matt and AEDI Construction to build a client's pool in Dartmouth MA. From beginning to finish, Matt was a pleasure to work with and we successfully executed the homeowner's wishes. As you will see the property and pool from our portion of the project is stunning, much credit being placed on Matt's project management skills.

Matt Ayers is a liar and a thief. We hired him in September 2017 to build our house. Matt disappeared several times throughout the project, and we eventually found out that most of our subs had not paid a penny, and Matt was gone for the wind. We have spent months in legal battles with sub contractors who placed mechanics liens on our property. We have lost hundreds of thousands of dollars and have heard that many other clients and vendors (most who had worked with him for over a decade) are in similar positions. Never trust this company.

My husband and I hired Matt Ayers from Aedi Construction in March of 2017 to build our Net Zero home. By March of 2018 we were hopelessly behind schedule and Matt disappeared. The crew quit after going unpaid. Our house has been standing untouched at halfway completion for over a month. He walked away with hundreds of thousands of dollars of ours and a long list of unpaid subs that we gave him money to pay. The experience has been a nightmare that we're spending time and money trying to unravel and fix. Matt Ayers is unresponsive.

I had worked as a lighting consultant with the guys at Aedi construction in the past at a previous job before branching out. They were very helpful and professional. Would love to collaborate with them on another project.

Aedi Construction is that rare find. Small and detailed oriented with great project management, but with the skill-set to compete with Boston’s biggest and finest outfits. Their passion for what they do has shown through on the numerous projects we have undertaken with them, from new houses, to complex renovations, and we have never been disappointed. I think that you will find Matt Ayers to be not only genuine and a good listener but the guy you want building your project!

We have enjoyed working with Aedi on three occasions over the past 8 years. The first 2 projects were smaller in scale (we added bathrooms, dormered a roof, fully overhauled the HVAC system), and this last one was large - all rooms in our house were either gutted or touched in some way, and new square footage was added. From the start, Aedi worked with our architect to create a plan that met our budget, often suggesting cost effective solutions that created the look and feel of what we were aiming for. All of their subcontractors were excellent - they did wonderful work and were very nice to have in our home. The work was done swiftly and was completed on time. As is often the case when working on an old (1890) house, surprises arose - Aedi did a terrific job communicating with us to outline and propose solutions. We felt we had a true partnership with Aedi in all of our projects. They are absolutely a pleasure to work with.

I hired Aedi based on a recommendation from someone else who had used them in my building. I hired them to renovate my kitchen, install new lighting in my living room, refinish the floors and a few other (more minor) touch ups in a downtown condo. I was very happy with the work performed for the price charged. They are professional, pleasant and responsible - very easy to work with. I recommend them without hesitation.

Aedi Construction was a gift for our project. We needed a building team that was a) open-minded to new/green technologies and healthy considerations, b) efficient and reliable, c) creative in meeting budget requirements while exceeding style requirements and d) flexible to adapt to changing circumstances on the fly. Aedi's team, led by the able Matt Ayers, with on-site supervision by Patrick Hughes, was the ticket. Every detail was carefully considered and executed with the highest level of quality and service.
