Robert, Steve and the rest of the staff are amazing. Our project entailed bumping out the side of our home to allow for a larger garage and mudroom as well as a complete renovation of the top floor. The exterior of our house was also transformed with stone, brick, new siding and a portico. The quality of the construction is top of the line with great attention to detail. Unlike many exterior home renovations and additions I have seen, Architectural Construction was able to meld the old with the new in a seamless and thoughtful manner. The contractors that they work with are all the best in their fields and offer top quality products. The job came in on budget (except for certain items that I chose to add) and on time. They did not cut corners on the job, and any items on my punch list were quickly resolved in a satisfactory manner. The staff is trustworthy, friendly, professional, and very responsive. All in all a great experience and I would most definately recommend them.

Choosing Architectural Construction was the best decision we made when we set out to build our dream home. During the Bid Process, Architectural Construction came to the table with their initial bid, but also provided back-up data and options to save money while maintaining the integrity for the design. Construction Manager Steve Kelley was fantastic. He was more than capable of handling complex build situations; an excellent carpenter and craftsman who ran an extremely efficient job-site, with an exacting eye for detail. Managing Director Robert McCormick clearly communicated with us and worked tirelessly to ensure the project ran smoothly. He was a pleasure to work with and a true gentleman throughout the process. Architectural Construction delivered our home on time, on schedule, and on budget. They met or exceeded all of our expectations while building our dream home – a home we will live in for many years. We would not hesitate to recommend Architectural Construction to friends and family, and have done so already. It was a pleasure working with Robert, Steve and the whole team, and we anticipate the relationship continuing far into the future.

Architectural Construction built our house (it was designed and built before we bought it), and we couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the construction and the house's design. We have been living in the house for over a year now, and we love it more and more each day. Since we moved into the house, Robert and Steve have been responsive to our requests for minor repairs, which are to be expected in a new house (the usual settling that occurs during the first year). Architectural renovated our contemporary home in Great Falls, VA. We liked their work so much we hired them again to perform a second renovation. The renovations included a complex master bedroom addition that blends perfectly with the existing interior and exterior home design. Their work also included an extensive structural kitchen renovation that required the removal of a double staircase, addition of a spiral staircase, installation of an i-beam support for the loft above the kitchen, and the removal and replacement of a wood floor that required extensive work on the underlying floor joists. They also had to work with a challenging interior designer who made many last-minute change requests, and who was a perfectionist for details. The result is beautiful, and we highly recommend them for any and all renovations.

My wife and I hired Architectural Construction to transform an 89's contemporary into an updated "cottage" style home. The process included expansion of the house in three directions, a total redo of the elevation and gutting the entire interior. The job was handled in a very timely fashion, came in on budget, and we are thrilled with the quality of the job!
