First off, I'm fairly handy and have done most types of remodeling, including laying floor tile. For this job, we wanted to hire the work out, but wanted to make sure that whomever we hired, they would do as good of a job, if not better, than what I would/could do myself. We are new to the state and had no clue who to hire for our tile job (Kitchen, pantry, laundry, entry, closet) and received several names from our tile provider (MTS). After receiving quotes from a few of the recommendations, my wife and I decided on ASA contracting. They were not cheapest bid, but they sold us on how they planned to do the install and the credibility and confidence that they exhumed when we first met and discussed the project and our expectations. Andy and Sarah are both very laid back individuals...but are both very hard workers. Sarah is hands on with Andy and does everything and anything that he does. Both provide efficient and quality results. Their work compliments each other and they will professionally critique each others work, making sure that we, the customer, are getting the best output/product. In our case, after the floor was beautifully laid, we noticed minor manufacture flaws on about 4 of the tile in various places. Andy/Sarah promptly returned and worked with MTS and us to replace the tiles...at no additional cost. It was not their fault...but they stood by both their work as well as the tile (even though we picked out the tile and tile provider). I can only speak to the tile work that they do, but, if you need tile installed, I 100% strongly recommend them. They are honest, hard working, conscientious, prompt, and trustworthy. If we ever need any tile work in the future, ASA Contracting will be our only call!

Sarah and Andy from ASA Contracting were recommended to me by Minnesota Tile and Stone. I had a small (yet tedious) tile job that required great attention to detail and multiple visits. I was warned that I would have a hard time finding someone to complete my job in a timely manner. I called Sarah and Andy and explained my dilemma. They came out promptly, within days, to Afton, MN (over an hour away). They were extremely professional, courteous, and knowledgable. They carefully chipped away at some existing floor tile so that the in-floor heating cable could be reinstalled. They then re-leveled the floor, lay down new tile and grouted. Their work was exceptional! I would recommend, without hesitation, ASA Contracting.

We chose ASA Contracting for a master bedroom project. The scope of work included removing wallpaper from one wall, some wall repair, preparing the walls for paint, priming and painting the walls. Andy and Sarah did an outstanding job and we are thoroughly pleased with the results. Their attention to detail and commitment to making sure everything was right was top notch. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for home improvement professionals.

I hired ASA Contracting to replace an old existing shower that was cracked in the floor and existing tile grout cracked and in bad condition all of which possibly could be leaking. My primary goal was to focus on the highest quality solution assuring that I will not need to worry about water leaking problems for a very long time. ASA walked me through everything they would do to assure a complete water protection solution. As they worked on the project, they pointed out issues and ask questions throughout assuring I was comfortable with their work and any solution they put in place. I am extremely pleased with the quality of the work. Of course, along with assuring a quality replacement solution, I wanted something that looked nice. ASA worked hard to assure all aspects of the project were aesthetically pleasing. Every interaction was very professional and it was obvious that ASA was very knowledgeable and experienced with this type of project. I am very happy with the outcome of the project and I would definitely hire ASA in the future should I ever have another project of this nature.

Extremely professional and excellent crafters. We have used them for over 5 different assignments including painting and tiling. They do outstanding work, their estimates are accurate and they are very easy to work with. We are doing major work on our house in order to sell it and are using ASA for all painting.

Andy and Sarah were great to work with! Great communication from start to finish, they offered us great advice regarding finishing details, and their work is beautiful. They completed our kitchen backsplash, installed oak baseboards throughout our first level, and even crafted a special threshold to even out a gap another contractor left between our tile and hardwood floors. They are a professional, personable, and smart team. We look forward to working with them again!

Andy and Sarah were referred to me by another contractor to install tile on a wall, replace a backsplash and prepare for new countertops. They are very easy to work with and asked questions about my project that I hadn't thought of. They are very detailed and considerate of their clients. And they do excellent work. I would highly recommend them for any project. I will definitely use them again for any future projects.
