Baxter Builder remodeled our kitchen. I am beyond pleased with the work. Our kitchen is everything I imagined it would be and more.

Baxter Builders did a fantastic job with our kitchen remodel. Keith and Anna helped turn our half-formed ideas into 3D models, and Bruce and the crew made it a reality. Since Baxter doesn't focus solely on kitchens, they had no trouble with some of the extras we were looking for - adding pocket doors, replacing a window, and removing a soffit. Baxter was recommended to us by a co-worker who hired them for an addition, and praised their craftsmanship and attention to detail. This was a major concern for us, as I was afraid of ending up with something I could have done better myself. Happy to report that we had a similar experience, and I think one of the things that helps is that they focus on one or two projects at a time, giving them their full attention. This level of attention also meant that they were in and out very quickly. It took exactly the time Keith said they would need, which included leaving us with a temporary water hookup each day, plus a couple curve balls we threw at them halfway through the project. Would definitely hire them again.

From the very beginning, Keith and Anna worked to understand our vision of our basement project. Their expertise, combined with their desire to make our ideas a reality, made working with them a pleasure. There was never a hitch (from permits to plans to inspections). They were also very clear with the way each change we suggested would affect the budget. In addition to their professionalism, the work that Bruce led at our house was nothing short of impressive. From the time they dropped off materials to the last day of the job, they were organized and easy to work with. We even had them do some custom cabinetry and shelving and the custom work is beautiful! Every person who has seen our basement asks who did it. As far as time frame went, we were impressed. Once they started our job, they came 5 days a week until it was finished. There were no "off" days while they waited for materials or manpower. I think they allowed 12 weeks in our contract but told us they expected it to take 8. We figured the truth would be somewhere in between. However, they finished just a few days under 8 weeks!!

We love the addition Baxter added to our home. This is the first time we had major work done in our home where I felt comfortable with the work being done and had piece of mind everyday. I didn't come home to surprises or a messy house. The builders and staff were courteous and keep us informed at each step. The end product is beautiful and blends in with the rest of house seamlessly.
