Benchmark Builders

Tom and his team did amazing work at our condo on the lake in Wilmette. We are planning another project with Benchmark that will start this spring. His knowledge and experience are so valuable when working through details associated with a complex remodel. We were very thankful for his patience with us during all of the decisions that were required.

Added a front porch to my 1928 plaqued historic home. The attention to detail Tom Anderson has is like no other! In my 15 years of living in this home I have worked with several builders/contractors. Tom was such a pleasure to work with. I provided drawings and the detail that was added and changes that were made were something I never imagined! The consistent comments I hear by each passerby confirm my goal was achieved, "looks like it was always there". What an enjoyable experience it was to work with Benchmark Builders! Top notch!

Recently we hired Benchmark Builders to redo our powder room on the main floor, our bathroom on the lower level along with updating our downstairs kitchen. We were very pleased with the guidance and expert workmanship done by this company. The main floor powder room was totally transformed, we only kept the original wood floor. The photos show the beauty of this room. The lighting, mirror, vanity and new toilet has totally changed this little powder room. The lower level bathroom had a shower that was removed and a storage closet was created in its place. This little bathroom was gutted and the finished product is beautiful with slate floor, contemporary sink and toilet, medicine cabinet placed in the wall, a very usable closet and cool lighting. The downstairs kitchen was updated with a new counter, sink and faucet. We are pleased with everything! We look forward to having Benchmark Builders back to do our master bathroom!
