Our entire main floor was renovated by Bespoke, including removing two walls, re-locating the kitchen, and gutting everything. Our first meeting with Bespoke involved a meeting with Andrew, the GC, who walked us through the process after listening to what we wanted to accomplish. He was very knowledgeable and professional and the communication with him all throughout the process was exceptional. He guided us to a Kitchen Design company who then met with us and Andrew and after a few months of sorting out the details and reaching a budget we were happy with, we signed on with Bespoke. Our project began in May of 2025. We lived at home for the entire duration of the reno. Not only did the team arrive every day to complete the project on time, every trade that came in were also very professional, respectful, and did excellent work. The job was completed on time, on budget, and with excellent communication throughout. The lead foreman is extremely skilled and has an exceptional team of people. He was always available to answer our questions and make sure things were running smoothly. Any time we encountered something that needed to be altered from the original plan, we were able to reach a solution with minimal stress and with no delays to the project. Bespoke made everything easy as far as renos go and we could not be happier with them and our new space. We would recommend them to absolutely anyone who is looking to do major renovations, and plan to have them do our master bathroom in the future.

Andrew from Bespoke Contracting came to my house on several occasions to provide a quote for work to be done. He was very thorough in his walk through providing us several different options to consider. The quotes were very detailed and broke down all of the costs and timelines while the software that he uses is very helpful in order for us to compare our options. Bespoke tried installing cheap finishes for everything on our main floor renovation, cutting costs everywhere. The images on this website of our kitchen are not of a kitchen they installed for us, we ended up getting our own kitchen installer because the kitchen places Andrew sent us to tried to recommend plastic cabinets. While pur beautiful wood cabinets (from Wright kitchen) are still holding up, our flooring, tile and counters which were all installed through their labour or recommended contractors and are all damaged within 1 year of normal use (no pets, etc).

We are very saddened and extremely surprised to hear about your experience. We completed your renovation 18 months ago (September 2023) and have not heard from you or Ian regarding any issues with any of the finishes or our work. When we met, we worked with you extensively to ensure that we came in at the right budget. Considering you said you didn't want the expense of high-end finishes and that you were keeping budget front of mind as you were planning on selling your home soon after renovating, we adjusted budgets accordingly. We completely understand not wanting to "over-invest" if you will be selling. So that was a big factor in the pricing that we used.

We have worked with the kitchen installer you used on several projects and agree that they are very good. However, due to budget constraints, we opted for a more cost-effective supplier. While the prices they offer are lower, they still provide very good quality cabinets. There are differing levels of quality that can selected based on price and need. We are not sure what you mean by "plastic" cabinets. We have never installed anything like that before.

We stand behind posting photos of the kitchen as we removed a load bearing wall, relocated electrical, plumbing, etc as required for new the layout. We completed all of the work on time and on budget without compromising the quality of the work. The renovation took a total of 2 months to complete and we only use qualified, licensed (where required) and reputable vendors. We didn't post any other photos of your home as you were very clear you didn't want anything to identify your home due to security reasons.

The suppliers we recommended offer good warranties on their products and had we known about the issues you and Ian were having we could have helped work with the suppliers to find a solution. In the rare instance a product has a defect, our supplies have been excellent at working with us and our clients to rectify any issues. We have all of the details of all the finishes you and your designer selected and would happy to put you in touch with them to try to resolve the issues.

However, we do not have any information on the countertop as we were not involved in the selection or installation, you worked with your own supplier directly. We would recommend going to your supplier to discuss this with them.

Review: We used Andrew and his team for an ensuite reno that we had been planning out for 2-3 years. From the initial meeting we knew they were the guys for the job. I had a very specific vision with custom french doors and cabinetry and the shower, and Andrew decided to bring in the foreman and the tiler to work out exact measurements and the plan which I really appreciated. The foreman, Toby, was incredible to work with and was just as ocd about the finished product as my husband and I which we really appreciated. The whole team was always on time, respectful and cleaned up daily. We are so so happy with the final result and can thoroughly enjoy it every day for years to come. Thank you so much, Andrew, Toby and team!!
