BuildMark completed a whole house remodel for us, and helped bring our 1960s house up to current energy and efficiency standards, as well as make it a wonderful and cozy space for our family. Emanuel and his team did excellent work from start to finish. Emanuel worked with us and our architects from the initial planning stage, and communicated effectively through the project. He regularly communicated the construction progress, and was proactive about communicating any finish material needs & timelines, as well as any potential issues & conflicts that he could foresee. Emanuel was also very responsive in helping address a few minor items that we noticed after moving in. It definitely shows that he takes prides in his work, and has a long term perspective for his work and his clients. Overall, we are very happy with Emanuel and the BuildMark team, and we will definitely consider them for any future needs! Services performed: Structural remodel, seismic retrofit (shear walls), full kitchen remodel, full bathroom remodel, new mudroom, wall/attic insulation, electrical panel upgrade (200A), full house electrical wiring, new plumbing, full house window and door replacement, flooring installation (tile), floor refinishing (hardwood), all new fixtures and appliance installation, cabinet installation for kitchen, bath and mudroom.

Love Emanuel! He and his crew are the best. Excellent communication and great with setting expectations on cost and timing. It’s apparent he really cares about the work he does and is very respectful of keeping a tidy worksite. Would absolutely hire him again!

Emanuel was very lovely to work with! The project was completed in the expected time frame, the details were thoughtful (he matched the pattern of the wood floor with the rest of the house), and he was always helpful in answering questions as things progressed. It was nice to know that he had lots of experience with similar redesigns since we didn't have much experience with layout or details. He even helped out with some other difficulties we were having with our heater which wasn't a part of his project.

Emanuel and his crew at BuildMark were simply fantastic. He far exceeded our expectations and we couldn’t be happier with our new kitchen. His communication was excellent, very professional in his approach, helped us problem solve a few hiccups that came up (which are inevitable in any remodel project!), kept the workspace tidy every day, and we genuinely enjoyed working with him. It was very clear he takes a lot of pride in his work and is very detail oriented. He’s a very positive, kind and caring person which made having him around our house every day pleasant. Emanuel and the team did a great job on my master bathroom remodeling project. Emanuel was great at communication on the project. He was very clear to communicate on project schedule and changes. The changes were needed because of the configuration of the condo layout that we didn't anticipate until the demolition. The remodeling project was very complicated due to the material that I used - a full slab for the shower wall. His team was able to bring that big slap into narrow pathways and up to the 2nd floor! Big kudos for them!

We've worked with Emanuel on three house projects now - a dual bathroom remodel in 2019, drywall repair / painting in 2019, and new electrical for our recent kitchen remodel. He answered all our naive construction questions, pointed us in the right direction to source all our materials, and did beautiful work in our home.

We are very pleased with our partial kitchen remodel (countertops, sink, faucet, tile backsplash). As first time homeowners, this was our first major project on our house and we had lots of questions. We really appreciated Emanuel's level of communication throughout the process, from answering our many questions in the beginning to keeping us updated on when workers were coming to the house. I was really pleased with the job Emanuel and team did! We had a drywall project that was a little on the smaller side but he was incredibly responsive and the team did really high quality work. He came out to do an estimate the day after I reached out, and the work was completed ahead of schedule. They did the job in a very safe manner and were overall a delight to work with!

We used BuildMark to remodel our kitchen and we are thrilled with the results. We were a little concerned in the beginning because we both worked from home, and have two kids.
