Built Environment is amazing! Our project was for a school that I was the Administrator of. It was a huge project where we expanded our Assembly Room and a classroom, up and out! Steve was easy to work with, put up with all of my questions (I do not work in construction) and his work is very high quality. He kept me up-to-date on every step and was very communicative and accessible throughout the whole process. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a General Contractor!

Steve Mueller is the best! He has worked on us with many projects and he has always delivered high quality results. He is a pro at managing projects - the people, the time and the money. Most recently Steve transformed our Airbnb cottage from a quaint unit into a handsome, high functioning income earner. Last season our 150 year old farmhouse was in dire straits and Steven turned it into a weather tight and solid abode while retaining its period aesthetic charm. He put together a quality team of professionals including an architect and designer to help us envision a complete renovation of our home. He provided all the support we needed and also gave us time for decision making - we never felt rushed! Steve Mueller is creative, especially when it comes to problem solving design or structural challenges. He gives attention to details that have made projects lasting improvements to my home. Steve has done a variety of jobs for me ranging from tractor work, fixing a drainage problem, to replacing all the major support posts on my two large porches with cedar logs. The porch job enhanced an architectural feature of the home that my grandfather had built. The job honored the original look while bringing a custom upgrade. I am very pleased with the result.

Working with Steve Mueller and Built Environment was a remodeling dream come true. Steve was professional, prompt, and very reasonable in his pricing. It has been one year since he completed our double bathroom remodel and we continue to be 100% satisfied. In particular, we were very impressed with Steve's coordination of the project and his attention to our comfort during the remodel. He and his team made as little mess as possible and cleaned up at the end of every day since we needed to live in our home during the whole project. Steve made sure that he timed everything carefully so that we only had one night without a toilet. Steve did a wonderful job of coordinating sub contractors and he held them accountable to his high standards. We couldn't be happier with our experience with Steve and Built Environment.

We had a great experience with Built Environment, who remodeled two bathrooms for us in 2019. These projects included extensive tile, flooring, lighting, and paint work, the latter extending into one bedroom. The plan was well executed. Built Environment stayed on budget and on schedule. We enjoyed regular and jargon-free communication with Built Environment. We definitely recommend Steve and his team.
