Stone Throw Farm
This is a turn of the century Dutch Colonial house that was in rough shape and the owners are slowly starting the process of renovating this gem in phases.
Phase 1 was to install a new Douglas Fir floor in their master bedroom. It was the existing floor that was failing due to years of use.
Phase 2 was to put a new roof on the house to get it water tight. As a part of this we dismantled the west side of the house, we installed 14 new high end Milgard windows, R19 wall insulation, cleaned up knob and tube wiring and resided the house with New ship lap siding to match the historic nature of the rest of the house.
Phase 3 is to do a remodel to the downstairs of the house which will be the kitchen, dining room, living room and the exterior space associated with views of the farm.
