Working with Cactus Nectar was a great experience from beginning to end. We started with another contractor who seemed uninterested in taking on our project and his quote reflected his attitude. In contrast, Cactus Nectar (Scott, owner & Ban, manager) visited our home to discuss our plans in detail. They came back with a quote that was very close to what we thought it should cost. The 7-page quote was thorough, showing all the line items they would provide and the costs for each job. It included timing for the work and payment schedule for each phase. They were professional and enthusiastic about working with us. There is so much I could say that was positive about our experience. The job manager (Lupe) was extremely flexible and responsive to any issues that arose and was always available to take calls. We did have some change orders which he accommodated, worked into the schedule and charged fair prices for. The project managers are backed up by a great team - they are constantly in morning meetings reviewing the various jobs and dealing with any issues. Additionally, Rebeca, who leads the office and is a talented designer, visited the site a couple of times to assist with important decisions. All the subcontractors we had on the job were top notch. This included demo, framing, tile removal and flooring replacement, drywall, plaster, painting, electrician, laborer, HVAC work and the finish carpenter doing all baseboards, casing and installing new doors throughout. One of the most notable aspects of our experience was the adherence to both timeline and budget. We were given a three-month schedule and a comprehensive budget. The job was completed in three months, and aside from change orders, the final costs matched the initial budget.

We hired Cactus Nectar for a major renovation of our newly purchased home in Tucson, completed while we were living across the country. From day one, they were easy to communicate with—quick responses, regular updates, and clear next steps—so we never felt out of the loop. They coordinated multiple individual contractors, always a challenge, kept the schedule moving, and handled inevitable surprises with solutions instead of excuses. Billing and change orders were transparent, and their recommendations were thoughtful and never pushy. Above all, Cactus Nectar operated with integrity; their ethics and care showed in both the way they treated us and the quality of the finished work. Managing a project remotely is stressful, but they made it straightforward and as worry-free as possible! We’re thrilled with the results and would hire them again without hesitation.

Very happy with our experience using Cactus Nectar! We had this odd, unused space that we envisioned converting it to an ensuite bathroom for my mom. After vetting several contractors, Cactus Nectar proved to be the most responsive and understood what we were trying to accomplish. They were also the most fairly priced. From the design and planning stage with Dave to the actual construction with Ban, Jose & Tiffany, to the close out and follow up with Scott, the entire team was always a pleasure to work with. They were very communicative and managed to keep the project on schedule & on budget, which is quite a feat for any construction project. I’m so pleased with the remodel of my master bathroom. The workers were polite and cleaned up everything before leaving for the day. I especially liked Jose who was responsible for the demolition and then installing the floor tile, and shower. The total look of the finished bathroom exceeded my expectations. I also want to say kudos to Tiffany who communicated with me every step of the way.

Cactus Nectar did an exceptional job. Very satisfied with finished project. Scott and his crew were great! If I ever need another job done I would call this company first.

The workmanship was excellent. That should be enough to recommend the company. I will use the company again next summer for additional remodel work. I had over 2,000 square feet of tile replaced, and I had two bathrooms remodeled.
