From the beginning of our timeline in building a custom home for the family, Cam and his team were an indispensable source for feedback and recommendations, consistently making himself available throughout the process. Cam provided feedback on multiple house listings we toured before landing on the house purchase and then continuing to work with us and provide advice and recommendations during the design process. Cam was great at working with multiple parties involved in the design and approvals process, which was such a bonus for us as we had not gone through this process before. When it came to the build, Cam's team (and the trades partners he consistently works with) could not have been more professional and great to work with, he was always open to feedback and flexibility on requested changes and unexpected surprises. Cam quickly addressed any concerns whenever they arose and included us as much as needed during the build to provide updates and timelines. The finished product was exactly what we had hoped for and almost a year later, the family still loves our custom built home. People often ask how the process went and if it's something we would ever do again, and while we have no desire to leave the house, we absolutely would entertain it if we could work with Cambro again on that project. We had Cam and his guys complete a small addition and full main floor renovation. We lived in our home throughout the renovation (Jan-May). Cam was always reachable and regularly in contact with us throughout the process. When the project ran into unexpected difficulties, Cam was able to give us a cost for the fix. If Cam was not on-site any of his guys could answer questions. If they didn't know the answer, they were able to find out the answer and get back to us. When we were unhappy with something or needed a change, it was easy to have a conversation with Cam or his guys to make these adjustments. Cam updated us regularly regarding the budget and the current state of the budget. At the end of the project, there weren't any budget surprises. The sub-contractors (electrician, plumber, insulation, landscaper) were excellent!!. Again, the job wasn't done until we were happy with everything. Even now, several months since the finish of the project, I had a concern and Cam was reachable and will make it right. We love our new space and this experience was as pain free as possible.

Cam is extremely communicative and always willing to offer suggestions, modifications and options for projects. If something needs correction or touching up, Cameron always took the time to make sure each detail was perfect. We are extremely happy with our various renos which included a new mudroom, fully gutted principle ensuite, powder room, kitchen island and more. Would highly recommend Cambro.

Cambro Contracting was introduced to us by our son who had a major renovation on his house. We knew from the very beginning that they were the #1 choice for our basement project. From conception to completion, the work was above & beyond what we had imagined. The quality of the workmanship was exceptional. In any renovation, there are always a few hiccups/changes that need to be addressed & at times modified ie layout or placement of components & even the client changing their mind about something; it's part of the process . Their understanding of our needs was exceptional & every effort was made to make sure that nothing was overlooked or left out. Their design knowledge of what works & what doesn't put our minds at ease. They have an excellent team working with them from framing, flooring, electrical, plumbing, millwork, painters & everything else in between. We have absolutely no regrets in our choice & would do it again as long as we have the same team. What an awesome group of guys. They created a space that we will enjoy for a long time to come; especially my little grandson's playroom (it's his new home as he says). Cambro knows that I have them on speed dial should we need future renovations. I would highly recommend them for any type of renovation you may require. They have the experience, knowledge, design savy to make your dreams a reality.

Cambro Contracting did a great job on our project. Demolition of existing house; lot prep; foundation; framing; finishes (in and out) thru to finished walls and even appliance install. We had 5 different contractors quote our 1700 sq ft bungalow retirement home with finished basement. Quote follow up was prompt and quote reviews were met with punctuality and follow up inquiries prepared. Once award complete, detailed follow up on material supply and timing to hit design intent was timely as well. Cam's network with local sub trades and supply base proved very effective as well since all sub vendors had a good relationship with him and provided us with the detail needed for final material and design selection. Budget stress was always an issue since we were building during the height of the pandemic and supply chains had been maxed. Collectively we were able to manage the challenges as they came along. Deficiency list was not required as areas of concern with the few issues that arose were handled in a very timely manner and did not get delayed. Corrected during the project. 8 moths to move in from foundation start and 11 months to final finishes and project completion. We are very happy with the finished result and utilizing an Energy Star design strategy for the entire build in conjunction with an 8K solar collecting system has yielded a very energy efferent, comfortable, modern home. We worked with Cam on a major update of our new home. He and his crew were an absolute pleasure! They were always on time, worked so quickly and efficiently even through the holidays and were clean and respectful of our space. Everything we asked for was completed, on time and on budget. Cambro did a significant facelift of our main floor and second floor in the summer of 2021. The project included new flooring, new stairs and railings, built-in cabinetry, lighting, trim, doors, paint, tile and fixtures. I can not say enough good things about our experience working with the team at Cambro. Cam, Jesse, and Chris in particular were involved for the duration of the project and a number of other more specific trades people were in and out as well. They were attentive during the design phase, they were on time and on budget with the build phase. All staff were professional and courteous. Any changes that we requested were handled professionally and quickly. The quality of the work was top notch. As can be expected with any in-home project, there were some very minor touch-ups and fixes needed after the work was done. Cambro encouraged us to reach out to them with any and all of these requests, and they handled them for us without additional charge or any pushback whatsoever. I would not hesitate to recommend Cambro for a project of any size. They are simply fantastic.

Cam and his crew helped us finished our unfinished basement when our original contractor left us hanging. Not only did they complete our project, they fixed all the imperfections left behind by the previous trades. Cambro's quality of work and attention to detail is second to none!!!! Such a huge difference in costumer service, quality of work, reliability and punctuality compared to our previous experience. Highly recommended! Cambro helped us with a renovation at our cottage in Brechin, ON in the middle of COVID! We knew going into it we should expect delays due to the pandemic, let alone the availability of trades being able to drive an hour north of the GTA but they did a phenomenal job of keeping us informed along the way of what to expect. Furthermore they worked around our schedule so that we could continue enjoying our space on summer weekends. All the subs Cambro brought on were very friendly and took pride in their work. When we had a few concerns along the way Cameron himself addressed and handled these head on with complete professionalism. We've worked with several other contractors and one thing that stood out to us was that when we asked for help/suggestions on small jobs that were not necessarily discussed during the initial walk through, the team didn't hesitate to help us. With others, that usually always translated to an immediate discussion about increased costs and felt like we were always being nickel and dimed. We are happy with how the project turned out and would most definitely work with Cameron and his team again.

Working with Cambro Contracting was an excellent experience. Cam and his crew were very professional, respectful, and diligent in leaving our home as clean & tidied up as best possible. Cam was always quick to respond to our questions and concerns. He was also great at communicating the timeframe of certain things getting completed so we knew if there were going to be delays in certain areas, due to supply issues & covid. I was referred to CAMBRO through a friend for a 2 level renovation(a real gut job if you will). Thanks to COVID, some things took a little longer than usual but Cam was very informative and provided regular updates on backorders, etc. We were given multiple design and product options to choose from in order to help stay on budget. They were also very flexible and accommodating when adapting to some of my last minute requests. We had Cambro Contracting build a legal apartment suite in the basement of our rental property in May 2020. His work is not only impeccable but modern and attractive. Cam is calm and upbeat. He takes great care in his work and in people. Even before then I had recommended Cambro to some of my mortgage clients and out of all the quotes they got, they choose him every time.

We used CamBro to take what was an awkward addition and turn it into a new living room, now the most beautiful and most used part of our house. Took out poured concrete and installed wood floors that seamlessly meshed with existing in the rest of the house, opened up structural walls to open the room the the kitchen and install huge window, installed gas fireplace and built ins. Great to work with and the quality of the work was excellent! Definitely took the “do it right” approach. Also had them finish a room in the basement and install a larger window there as well. Definitely recommended.

We contracted Cambro Contracting in September 2020 to do a major master bathroom renovation. The entire space was stripped bare and some wall partitions were removed to expand a shower stall. Cameron Brown and his crew were extremely easy to work with. They were able to turn my vision into reality. Even better than I could have imagined. The quality of products were excellent and the workmanship was beyond my expectations. Any issues I had, or changes I made, were handled very professionally and addressed immediately. Cameron was very calm and accommodating dealing with Covid-19 delays. He always kept us up-to-date with manufacturing delays. Handling pressures during this time was handled with the utmost of professionalism. When my project was completed, I actually missed the Cambro crew. They were all very friendly, always on time, and always available to answer any questions I had. They came in well within budget and we plan to have them start another project at our house this year.

After meeting with Cam and being incredibly impressed with his professionalism, fresh ideas and knowledge, we chose Cam to do our whole home renovation. This was the first major renovation we've ever undertaken and were very nervous after hearing horror stories; our fears were very quick alleviated as Cam was with us every step of the way, from planning and architecture through all the final small details. Cam's "stable" of professionals (tiler, electrician, stair builder - who knew there was such a guy!) are as impressive as he is. We gutted everything and built up on our side-split: 3 season sunporch, extra garage bay, new bathrooms, new everything. I can't impress enough how reassuring it was to be able to trust Cam, and his work, implicitly.

I have hired Cam and his team on 2 occasions for 2 major projects. August 2015 for the kitchen and main floor and March 2018 entire upper floor including expanding bathroom. Both jobs were large demos. I was very concerned and nervous about the entire process and the amount of money. Cam assured me he had my back every step of the way. We needed more insulation for our home and decided to change the cladding on the upper level. Cambro offered advice and selection of the materials best suited for our home built in the 70 's. The job quote was very competitive and the work was completed on time and no additional costs. The results are excellent. The workers were respectful of our property and privacy. They worked hard and skillfully. The debree was removed and the home exterior was cleaned up.
