We hired Calvin to convert our attached carport to a garage/workshop and repair the rotted roof and deck above the carport. He and his crew did an amazing job — everything from coordinating the engineer and permits to helping me design the layout and lighting of the workshop. He was extremely communicative throughout the entire process. The estimate we received was accurate, and he worked with us to best prioritize our budget to maximize value and functionality. Calvin is the most well-qualified and trustworthy general contractor I've ever worked with.

With Calvin's experience, relationships and expertise - my wife Kate and I can say three things most home owners after a remodel can't: (1) we finished on time, (2) we finished on budget and (3) we loved our contractor. Calvin is trustworthy, reliable, action oriented and communicative.

Calvin remodeled our master bath shower as well as some tile work and repairs. We were on a bit of a time crunch but he got everything done fast and we couldn't be happier with the work! This is the 2nd job we've had done by Calvin and his team. Our first was modernizing our previous home before moving. Calvin is extremely laid back in his approach, very helpful, honest, and confident in his recommendations for what to do. He does electrical, plumbing, carpentry, finish work, painting, etc, which is nice because we had a wide variety of things we wanted to do. There were a few surprises with both jobs, but they weren't due to Calvin and we navigated the issues in a comfortable, constructive way. I'm a pretty particular guy, and it was never a problem when discussing touch ups or changes. Also, if you tell him something once, he will do it/correct it, unlike some other contractors I've had where they keep coming back and don't fix the issue. Our more recent project was for the house we just purchased, and that job went very well also. He's so easy to work with. I'm fairly handy as well, and we didn't have any trouble working around each other on some of the things I decided to do myself to save money, which made it possible to do a lot more than we originally would have. We will absolutely use Calvin again for future projects. I would have rated Calvin with 5 stars if he'd caught some of the very small detail issues on his own and corrected them without me even having to say anything. However, once I brought it up, it was quickly improved to beyond my satisfaction. Thanks, Calvin!

We were skeptical initially due to our previous experience with contractors in general, however, Calvin has surprised with his work ethics and quality.
