Alek and his entire crew from Citidev did an excellent job for our project. We had damage to our foundation and garage after a car crashed into our building, just before the holidays. When most folks were shutting down for a few weeks, he went out of his way to help us out of this bind, meaning we could leave for the holidays without a hole in our house. This shows kindness and a true commitment to the community he lives in. He and his team are incredibly professional, got the job done to our expectations, and very clean. They found ways to get the power they needed for their tools within our garage when it wasn’t exactly clear. He’s also a very good communicator with the clients, taking time to check in at key milestones of construction and managing while the building’s main point of contact switched as different folks went away for the holidays. His office worked really well with insurance to provide paperwork to their specifications, ensuring that we received the claim money (our building had no liability for the accident/loss).

We are thrilled with our remodel. What we liked most about Citidev is their vision and drive for a quality product and concern for our satisfaction with the project. Alek added excellent modifications to our project making the end result all the better. We also appreciated their timeliness with the work. We have seen many residential projects continue on for 18 months to multiple years. We did have quite a bit of work done, yet, by moving around some of the outside work v. inside they were able to get us back in our home in just over 8 months while they completed the more limited outside work over the next 5 months, rain allowing. This schedule was managed in spite of unexpected structural revisions, extensive dry rot work, and several additions to the scope. Our only delta would be their billing process. They are implementing a new system which will hopefully address those issues. Thank you to Alek, Emigliano and the rest of the team.

Citidev is an outstanding general contractor company. I have enjoyed working with them since 2011 on commercial projects and my home renovation. My projects have been in San Francisco, with challenging logistics due to access, prior design, and complexities of density, among other items. They manage these challenges exceptionally well. Better than any group I have worked with. Additionally, their design aesthetic sets them apart. They consistently offered ideas that contributed to the success and beautiful outcome of the finished project, which is truly unique and a huge value add. The team took great care to keep our home clean and organized throughout the duration of the renovation. We were always kept up to date on progress and kept well-informed about timelines, cost, and scope of work. And even today, four years after our remodel, Alek is always available to answer any questions that should arise. Finding a great contractor can be a challenge, but we feel incredibly fortunate to have found Alek and his team. From start to finish, they made our project a seamless and stress-free experience while delivering a gorgeous end product.
