Conniff Construction built an addition on our home. We are over the moon with the finished product. Every part of the process from initial contract discussions to the final finishing touches was handled professionally and with integrity. This is a company you can trust with your projects to get it done right (and fast) the first time. Everything was well communicated, transparent and the skill and workmanship is top notch. My wife and I really appreciate how we were treated and there is not a single thing I would change. I'd give 6 stars if I could! Adding onto your home is a huge investment. When you take that big leap you want to know you can have confidence in the company you have entrusted with your home. Conniff is that company! I started with calls to 9 contractors. In the end Conniff came in with the best price. They got it done quickly (in some pretty challenging weather) and the quality was fantastic. Conniff construction completed a beautiful 400 sf addition, plus full siding, roofing, and decking, in 3 1/2 months for my family. Conniff Construction recently completed our addition. Overall, Sean was great to deal with. He was very responsive, easy to contact, and willing to work with my wife and I. Additionally, I felt he was honest, upfront, and provided us with an accurate timeline for the project. His main workers, Jose and Ibrahim, were courteous, neat, and detail oriented. They did a great job with the tiling, flooring, molding, outdoor landing/stairs, etc. If we had an issue with something, Sean would have his crew remedy the problem quickly. I was also very happy with the work that the masons, spacklers, HVAC, siding crew, roofers, and plumbers did. Sean was willing to work with me as I did the electrical work and painting. Overall, I would give Sean and his crew an “A” on the project. I feel Conniff’s pricing was competitive and he gave us the attention we needed. Conniff Construction has been great from the onset of our dual projects. We hired this company based on reviews and seeing a nearby project in action. We had a 600sf master suite addition done as well as converting a single car attached garage to usable office/laundry space. We requested a few 'changes' along the way which Sean and his team addressed flawlessly. We have plans to use Conniff Construction for an additional home renovation project in the near future. We used Conniff construction to redo our kitchen and a bathroom at the same time. First off let me say they were true professionals and the quality of work by Sean and the team was spectacular. Sean always picked up the phone and communication during the process was stellar. They showed up every day promptly at 8AM. They worked through the day with little or no breaks and at the end of the day they cleaned up everything. Sean partnered successfully with our designer. There were tweaks and changes along the way, and they didn’t blink an eye pivoting to get it done. At the end of the job, we had a small punch list that they plowed through without complaint, wanted us to be more than happy with the final product. To say we are ecstatic with the process and the end result is an understatement.

Conniff Construction did not let me down they are persistent and constantly moving forward with quality material and craftmanship. I hit a lot of obstacles and set backs from financing to my plans. engineering and general issues with the building I leased. Conniff Construction went above and beyond every step of the way; reaching out to the franchise to get details they needed for a quality job and they where always there and available when I needed them most. Had a great experience with conniff construction. We needed two beams installed to make our home more open. They were on time and very efficient. Both beams were done in one day with no problems. After seeing the beams we decided we wanted one to be flush to make the kitchen have better flow. Sean got back to us right away and came out the next day to make the beam flush. We were definitely impressed we expected to wait since we know they are a busy company. Sean made sure we were happy. We look forward to using this company again for projects around our home.

We hired Conniff Construction to rebuild our front porch, backyard pergola, reset stone pavers in our backyard/driveway and a few other retrofit-type repairs. We are very detail oriented clients and stipulated that all of the building material had to be Azek. Sean had to do some research on some of the Azek products we wanted to use, and even had to find a creative workaround to use Azek in a backyard railing retrofit. Sean Conniff followed our requests and requirements to the 'T'. Sean is EXTREMELY detail oriented, thorough and communicative. I cannot stress this enough. We have done many renovations & projects on multiple homes and working with Sean this time was like a breath of fresh air. We were not in town during the few weeks it took to complete our work so we requested daily text updates with pictures of progress. Sean did a timely and thorough job of keeping us in the loop and up-to-date. We spoke on the phone when needed and communicated by text and email when that would suffice. As a result he was always accessible within hours of us reaching out to him. Nothing slipped through the cracks on this project. Virtually unheard of with building and renovation work. Sean also made suggestions to us re: issues or things he discovered as they ripped up our old porch, and confidently suggested how he could correct for us. And he often did these small things at no extra cost! He has great integrity. He stands by his work, is fairly priced, and simply put, does not nickel and dime his clients. Again, a breath of fresh air. We would highly recommend Conniff Construction for any new construction and renovation/retrofitting needs. We intend to hire Sean and his crew for any future, small or large, project needs.

We met Sean Conniff at a home show and were impressed by this young man. When we were ready to have our house sided and a new triple double-hung window installed, we already knew we wanted to go with Conniff Construction. Thank goodness we did. Sean was patient with us, not high-pressure like some contractors, which was good, because we were back-and-forth with material choices and the like. Conniff's crew showed up on time each day, and the job was completed in three days. The house was beautifully transformed. What I most appreciated was that Conniff stuck with us, even afterwards, to apply some finishing touches, and Jimmy Hynes, who helped with this phase of the job, was great. Sean made us feel like we were his only customer, even though Conniff Construction had multiple jobs going at the same time. Not only would I, but I have already recommended Conniff to friends.

Sean Conniff of Conniff Construction is amazing!!! From the time we had our 1st consultation, I knew we were in good hands with our kitchen renovation. Our kitchen in Spring Lake looks awesome- what a transformation!!! Sean is professional, innovative and well skilled. He was always on time and met our expectations in completing the project when promised. No small feat during COVID! He coordinated all the subcontracting seamlessly. We were not onsite during the renovation and Sean kept in frequent communication with us including texting us multiple photos of the progress. We hired Conniff Construction to address a few carpentry issues as well as install trim work (crown molding, shiplap and wainscoting) throughout our home. We also had them completely remodel our master bathroom. Sean Conniff is a stickler for details, and it shows in his work. One never has to worry about him getting it right. He’s way ahead of you in that department but always patient and thorough in answering any and all of one’s questions. He and his co-workers, John and Scott, work hard, are very pleasant and professional, and are unfazed by anything including my overly curious and energetic dog. They’re extremely neat – not only when cleaning up each night but throughout the entire process. They were prompt each morning and communicated any delay or hiccup in a timely fashion. We’re extremely pleased with their work. Our new master bath is stunning. I would not hesitate to recommend Conniff Construction and intend on using them for future projects.

Conniff Construction is by far one of the best contractors in ocean county!!! It's very rare to see the owner on site guiding his workings but that's exactly what Sean did. The worksite was always clean , he was always in contact and open to mid-project changes. The project complete date was even pulled in to accommodate my children starting school. Highly Recommended ! Sean was contacted to write an estimate for a realtors potential client deciding on what was the best answer to his situation of the status of his home. He was prompt and punctual and professional. He tried to get to the bottom of the clients requests...and financial position with the amount of funds and the work required, and the work he envisioned to revamp his home which had been affected by a fire. Sean and the client were to meet afterwards to discuss the plans, prices, time frame, etc when the client got the answer from his ins. co and adjuster. This way then the final plans and prices could be determined as to the needs, wants, desires and funding would inspire the outcome. Much to Sean's estimate abilities, and his technique of researching the scope of what the job would be and the homeowners stress and CONFUSION --- I have been told and passed the info to Sean that the homeowner said he had to go with the adjusters advise and their recommendation since homeowner was being housed in other temporary quarters and to continue the process he had to remain with them. (therefore I was told that was the reason why) I would recommend Sean again.

I contracted with Conniff Construction in February 2015, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. As a result of a previous fraudulent contractor, I was left with a barely functioning bathroom in my home. Due to a mold issue, homeowners insurance granted us coverage for a bathroom repair. We didn't do our due diligence in selecting this original contractor (reading reviews, browsing the internet for credentials/past work, etc), and we suffered because of it. The previous contractor came in, ripped out all the walls and flooring, destroyed the plumbing, and ran off with the money - leaving us still with the mold problem and without a functioning bathroom. Conniff Construction came to the rescue and repaired our bathroom beautifully, and in a timely manner. Both Sean and John were extremely professional to work with, and had only their clients best interests in mind. They put our bathroom back together, including a custom tile floor job, reinstallment of sheetrock, rerouting of problematic plumbing, installation of new tub and removal of old tub, and most of all - rid us of the mold issue. Conniff Construction worked with us patiently while we went back and forth on design decisions. They installed all of the bathroom furniture, including vanity, mirror, and lighting. I felt extremely safe with having them work in my home alone, without supervision. They are safe and professional, and pose no risk from a safety or financial perspective. They are diligent and organized in their documentation, including their contract and estimates, and belong to multiple verified home owner's and builders associations in the state (as well as nationally). We felt very safe in their hands and we are confident we made the right decision in choosing them for our renovation. I would highly recommend them to anyone else looking for a renovation or new build in the future.
