Last December Dana and his team finished a second project —total rehab on two full bathrooms along with installation of 5 replacement windows I wish I could give this contractor 10 stars as he listened to the “dream” plan and kept me informed through out the demolition and reconstruction. Dana got the job because I was so pleased with earlier work— reconstructing an attached screen- in porch. He was able to make the porch over while maintaining the original large size screens and overhead window and beam features . I highly recommend Dana and his team without reservation.

Dana and his whole team were great to work with. They delivered a number of renovation projects on our home including a breezeway, extra garage, new kitchen and loft extension. Throughout the communication was excellent, the finish was to a high standard and I really appreciate that he was able to accommodate changes to improve the project without constant change fees. I look forward to working with Dana and his team again on our next project!

Dana did an amazing job on our home renovation. The original project included creating an open plan kitchen and mud room out of the existing downstairs footprint, as well as reconfiguring our master bedroom and renovating our master bathroom. Dana worked seamlessly with our architect and made many terrific and tasteful suggestions to improve on the original design. Dana was also very flexible throughout the process, and allowed us to make a few important decisions on the go as the project came together. All of his efforts were put into making sure that we were very happy with the final product -- which we were ecstatic with. In addition, Dana created a work timeline which allowed us to never be without a fully functional kitchen, even though our kitchen was being relocated to another room. This allowed us to stay in our home during the construction, which was very convenient and a big cost savings. Lastly, and critically, Dana stayed on budget, which is a rarity in his business in our experience. We were so happy with the finished product on this first job, that Dana has since renovated our basement, other bathrooms and outside deck, as well as replaced our roof. We could not have been happier with Dana's and his entire team's work. In addition to all of this, Dana has consistently stood by his work, and has always been available for follow up questions. Dana is a true professional, and we could not recommend him more highly.

Old school contractor with super project management capabilities, great communication, and impecable craftsmanship. Really a refreshing experience after my previous contractor....

It's hard to put into words (and the BEFORE & AFTER pictures don't do it complete justice) the absolute transformation Dana and his crew gave our Victorian home. The scope of the project initially included only removing a deteriorating existing single-story garage and replacing it with a new, two-story garage that was more compatible with the residential character of our house and neighborhood. We expanded the renovation project eventually to the main house, the 3-family we call home, where we re-sided the entire house and installed a new roof -- so the new garage wouldn't stand in stark contrast to the sad, vinyl-sided home. And boy are we glad we did! Was the project without it's hiccups? Absolutely not but what project worth the effort ever is. And, frankly, I'd do it all over again with this crew. Dana's team brought incredible craftsmanship to this project. They pulled out of our old Victorian the glamour she deserved and I couldn't be prouder of the final product. We look forward to working with Dana and his team on the next project -- once we recuperate from the cost of this one :)

Dana is awesome! We hired him for a tear down and rebuild in Natick and he was fantastic. What makes Dana really stand out, besides his quality sub relationships, is his communication style. The way he treats you during bid and contract phase is exactly what you get through construction. He was so responsive to every question through the process. Our new home is completely gorgeous and he made a really stressful time out of our home (with 2 small children!) so much easier on us. Highly recommend for any project!

We had an unexpected kitchen reno due to a leak in the waste pipe inside the wall. We got Dana's info from a recommendation and we're glad we did. Being novices to reno's, Dana was a god-send. He help us through the whole process, offered to and dealt with the insurance company directly, planned and executed the whole project. He made recommendations when asked and where necessary. We will recommend Dana to anyone that asks and call him again if we ever need his services. This is the man you want to work with.

Dana and his crew did a great job renovating our bedroom and master bath. We are very happy with the outcome. Very professional, friendly, flexible, good work quality and followup.

Dana was instrumental in getting my renovation started. His workers were skilled, responsive and patient, did good work and were amenable to correcting anything needing to be redone or tended to. Dana was frequently in touch but occasionally made construction decisions prior to consultation with me. His work was well done, he was attentive to my needs/requests, and he was helpful with my decision-making throughout the reconstruction project as his experience and knowledge was outstanding.

I have worked with Dana as the Interior Designer on two complete home remodels in the last year and it has been such a pleasure to work with him and his crews. Dana gets things done, responds to issues and never gets flustered, wonderful characteristics for a builder. Dana answers phone calls quickly, plans projects efficiently and makes sure all of the details are covered. I look forward to many more collaborations.

We had significant storm related damage and hired Dana (based on a reference from a friend) to be our contractor to remediate the damage and to complete a significant amount of remodeling. Dana was excellent handling the claim with the insurance company. He met three times with their adjustor and convinced them to add items that were necessary but not covered originally. Once the work started Dana and his crew were extremely responsive to all our requests and changes and completed the work very quickly. The scope of the work included among other things, demolition and replacement of interior ceilings, walls and moldings, extensive painting, wood floor replacement, sanding and staining, replacement of stair balusters, and insulation work. Dana is available and returns messages seven days a week. He also worked very well with our designer. We would hire Dana LLC again for any remodeling project we do and would highly recommend them.

We hired Dana LLC to work on a water damage restoration project and also to do renovations of existing rooms and construct an addition. As we had an insurance company and bank involved in the process, it was great to have Dana's knowledge and experience with working with adjustors and insurance claims. Dana was also great in working and coordinating with our decorator so that construction and design worked in tandem on schedule. Dana also has a great network of other experts and was able to connect us with a fantastic architect who designed new space for us and also reconfigured existing spaces in ways we never could have envisioned. At the end of the day, Dana has been key in crafting a whole new house for us.

Dana Pratt (owner) helped us navigate the challenges of a major restoration of our four bedroom colonial, and the associated insurance claim arising from a broken water pipe, which devastated our kitchen, family room, center hallway, and two finished basement rooms. In addition, he and his team have done excellent work on several additional projects including a completely revised master bathroom, a new basement bathroom, and a two-room addition on the side of our home. His team also restored old hardwood floors and repainted most of the unaffected rooms in our home. He is easy to work with, and has a great eye for design details and what improvements make sense in our house and neighborhood. He has closely adhered to the original budget and schedule estimates, and keeps us informed on these as the project progressed. He worked very well with our interior designer (Studio C Interiors), bouncing ideas around adjusting to any surprises found inside old walls. Dana goes above and beyond what is expected of a builder. During the height of the horrible winter of 2015 (ten feet of snow in the Boston area), he was working on our home and noticed new leaks from ice dams on the roof. Dana personally went up on our roof and cleared the extensive snow and ice away from the problem area, nipping a potential disaster in the bud. His extensive experience with insurance claims and restoration make him a unique asset when mayhem strikes your home. We recommend him highly!
