I hired this Decor Builders to build an ADU in my backyard and handle the landscaping at my Sunnyvale home. They were professional, ethical, and reliable, with a friendly team that was always responsive. The quality of the build and landscaping was excellent, and they showed great creativity in resolving challenges. They also coordinated smoothly with my solar installers and even finished the project a few weeks ahead of schedule. We were thoroughly impressed working with DECOR Builders. Tal quoted us 6-8 months for our extensive remodel, and he delivered a practically new home to us in the promised time! We really liked the seemlessness of working with the DECOR team. They were great at communication, reminders, suggestions, and help. We loved that we didn't waste time finding different contractors for different parts of the job - they had "a guy" for everything! We had a list of issues with our existing layout, and they helped solve all of them! These included: tearing down a load-bearing wall to create an open concept living/dining/kitchen area, reconfiguring all 4 bedrooms' closets, moving our washer and dryer upstairs, pushing out our garage and master bedroom and adding a master bath with steam shower, upgrading one of the bathrooms to ADA standards, installing recessed lighting throughout the home, installing a new HVAC system, finsihing our basement floors, walls, and ceiling, and re-roofing for solar panel compatibility. They gave us options along the way and supported our choices. We really enjoyed working with Anne, the interior designer. She met us at multiple showrooms to pick out our kitchen and 3.5 bathroom finishes. She knew what materials would work best for our project and created a document with very accurate renderings of each room, and provided links for the purchases that we needed to make. Eddie, our foreman, was amazing and attentive to all of our project needs. He was patient, flexible, and took the time to explain why things were done in a certain way. He made sure everyone involved in the project was on task. We highly recommend DECOR for your next remodel, big or small!

We worked with Decor Builder on a major home renovation and had a great experience. They were very responsive throughout the project. They set up a WhatsApp project group early on and kept all communication there, which made things easy and efficient. Every renovation project has some unexpected challenges, and ours was no different due to extenuating circumstances. But the difference was how well the Decor team managed the project through the difficulties. One example was the discovery that our roof needed to be replaced. Not something we were aware of and not something that was part of the original project. We have nearly 100 year old Spanish terracotta tiles. The rains were coming, and we needed a fix quick. Decor put us in touch with a contractor of theirs that came out the next day and replaced the damage before rain could ruin the work being done by Decor. This close collaboration between Decor and other reputable contractors gave us confidence that Decor was invested in our whole project's success, not just their portion. We made the decision to stay in the home during the renovation of the back half with a new bathroom and adding to our back bedrooms to give us a bit more space. This allowed us to watch the work up close and see the quality and commitment each crew made as they worked closely together. We love our new changes and are grateful that a normally stressful experience was reduced by the professionalism of the Decor Team.

We hired decor as a full service design and build contractor to upgrade a single family home. Our project included designing a new expanded kitchen, upgrading all bathrooms, windows, and doors. Overall, we are pleased with the quality of work completed. Pros - All needed services available through decor (architect, designer, contractor, coordinator, staircase carpenter, etc). Part of the reason we went with decor was to save time on coordinating across different parties. Both my husband and I work full time; it was critical for us to have a company that could see the project thru end to end - Speed of construction (3-4 months); there were frequently 8-10 guys working on the property. They were efficient and got the job done in a timely manner, allowing us to move in, which we greatly appreciated. - Designer (Anne was patient and offered great advice) she helped us quantify all purchases and helped us render several options. The project turned out exactly like the renders. She also helped us solve for cost options and unexpected complications during construction (i.e. tiles were longer than measurements provided so was able to design a different layout that didn't require significant incremental cost) - Quality of work - overall very pleased; see photos

1 word: AWESOME! We used Decor Builders for building and design services to add a 230 sq ft kitchen and remodel two existing bathrooms in a California all original ranch house built in 1953. Tal and the team (Raana, Anne, Juwon, Patrick , Eddie, Jaime) were fantastic! Our journey began in March 2023, and we submitted the final design plans to the city of SJ in June/July 2023. Final approvals were received in September 2023, and our construction took place from February 2024 to end of September 2024. Decor Builders supported us every step of the way with great suggestions, an easy-to-work-with network of suppliers, and a friendly staff that made the experience as easy as possible. There were some change orders due to the major work taking place, but the team helped us weigh our options in real time, and we are ultimately very satisfied with the outcomes. We will most definitely choose Decor Builders again for our next project and would not hesitate to recommend them, especially to families who have never gone through a remodel or home construction before. We hired Decor Builders to remodel our primary bathroom, and we’re so glad we did. After a bad experience with another contracting company many years ago, we were apprehensive about taking on another project. However, when we met Caivon at Decor, he made us feel at ease and he assured us our project would go smoothly. Our designer, Mika, was a huge help with our design selections, and Caivon always kept us up to date on our project through What’s App. The whole team at Decor was professional and efficient, they showed up every day on schedule and even expertly navigated our two boisterous dogs. In the few times that we weren’t completely satisfied, Caivon and the team came back to ensure the necessary changes were made and that we were happy with the revisions. This is the kind of attitude that separates a great contracting company from an average company – doing whatever it takes to make sure the client is happy. At the end of the project, the result was a bathroom that was beyond our expectations. We highly recommend Decor Builders and wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.

I recently used Decor Builders for my laundry room update and a few other small things. Caivon is my project manager and Jocelyn is my designer and they are very responsive. Caivon's team did a great work and I am very satisfied with their work especially all the details they paid attention to. Another thing I would like to mention is they clean up the work site every day! It is super important as I live in the work site. I really appreciate they can do the cleaning every day. And I can say I really get a great value of my project, their price is reasonable and if anything needs additional cost it was communicated quickly and reasonably. Overall I liked their work very much and I would definitely recommend Caivon to my friends.

We did an entire exterior remodel with Guy and his team at Decor Builders and are very pleased with the results -- it turned out exactly as designed. Each aspect of the build was done with skill and attention to detail -- wood siding repair, new Ipe siding, paint, new gate and fence, downspouts, chimneys, stacked stone, windows and custom garage doors. And Guy remained engaged with the project, accessible and responsive throughout.

We had a wonderful experience with Caivon and Decor Builders! Caivon communicated with us throughout the entire process. The estimate was clear, they completed all the work within the time frame they gave us and everyone was so professional and polite!! We had them tile our front porch and pour a new driveway. Decor Builders and Tal did the majority of our house renovation projects. Throughout the process Tal was extremely transparent and extremely dedicated to the job. When we received our permit to close the roof at 5pm on a Friday, mere hours before a massive rain storm, Tal was personally on the roof until 10pm making sure it's closed and insulated. When we wanted to figure out the best design for our kitchen cabinets, Tal accompanied us to the store and provided us his opinion. In the very very few cases where we weren't 100% satisfied, Tal did not argue and sent his team back to make sure the end result matched what we wanted. I would strongly recommend Decor Builders for any house renovation projects.

My husband and I worked with Tal and Mustafa on a bedroom extension plus a mudroom (200+ sq ft). They were great from the beginning to the end. Our project was completed in 3 months. Would have been less if all the finishes had arrived earlier, but that's on us. We are super impressed with the Decor Builders' team. Their communication, project management, timeliness to completion of each phase, and quality of work was all great. Tal and Mustafa would catch things we didn't see and ask their subcontractors to fix them. Some issues came from our vendor with doors, and they worked with us to get that communicated back to the vendor. We had just finished an ADU prior to this project that took way too long. So wished we had found Decor Builders earlier. Will definitely work with them again.

I worked with Caivon from Décor Builders for my bathroom renovation project. He truly listens to his clients’ needs and is dedicated to delivering their desired outcome. As a project manager, his ability to coordinate with sub-contractors was essential in getting the project going as planned. During the renovation there are some minor issues that arose, but Caivon was quick to address them and work with sub-contractors to make sure everything was fixed properly. My shower came out better than expected. I’d work with Caivon again.

My husband and I hired Guy and Decor Builders to convert our 480sq ft detached garage into a 1 bedroom/1bath ADU. I was apprehensive about the process because we had just finished a renovation project on our house with another contractor, and had a pretty bad experience. So I really did my homework when talking with Guy- reading reviews, talking to previous clients, etc. Guy took me to see an ADU he had recently completed, which was beautiful. I also knew I would want to use an interior designer to help select finish materials, and I liked that Decor Builders had someone in-house who was part of the team vs me needing to coordinate communication among separate people/companies. For the most part everything went smoothly. Getting blueprints drawn up went quickly, we met with Anne and toured showrooms to pick out a design plan and materials, demolition started in July. Communication with Guy and Dalton was pretty good, they were usually responsive to questions and concerns as they came up. I felt reassured when Dalton would check on the site and be unhappy about small mistakes the workers had made, because he really was paying attention to the details and felt invested in everything being done right. The workers were friendly, professional, and respectful. Our previous contractor had barely ever shown his face at the work site and was not responsive when a major problem came up, so I really appreciated that Guy was more hands-on and when we had any problems he showed up the same day to check it out and make sure things were ok. We did have some delays (the work was supposed to finish in October, but wasn't done till the first week of January), but some of that is to be expected with any construction project. Overall we're really happy with the work Decor Builders did and would hire them again in the future.

The team at Decor Builders exceeded all of our expectations during our condo kitchen renovation. From start to finish, the process was seamless and professional. Tal and the team made the experience enjoyable and stress-free. Even with unexpected delays caused by the city, the site manager Dalton and Tal kept us informed every step of the way and worked diligently to ensure our permits were approved on time. Our designer Yael was a true asset to the team, helping us bring our vision for the project to life with her expert guidance on countertops, cabinets, backsplash, faucets, and more. We never felt rushed or pressured to make any decisions and are absolutely thrilled with the end result. Décor Builders helped us to build a 659 sq ft addition to our existing home. Décor Builders provided us a full service of this project including architect design, construction, interior decoration, and front yard landscaping. We started interviewing contractors for this addition project in March 2021. We quickly selected Décor for this project after a few rounds of interview. Among all contractors we interviewed, Décor was the only one on time for all appointments and timely responding to our requests, which won our confidence. We spent two months in completing the design phase of this addition project with roughly eight rounds of drawing revisions. The designer from Décor Builders patiently provided valuable solutions to all our requests and modified the drawing accordingly. We submitted our design to the city in May 2021 and got approval in November 2021. Décor Builders immediately started constructing the addition and was able to complete the majority of the project in early April 2022. It took Décor Builders only four months to complete such a complicated projects under COVID and the supply shortage. All my friends and neighbors can not believe such a short project duration and think that we tell a lie. In fact, Décor builders can wisely plan the project step-by-step and allocate labors and materials in advance, resulting in this amazingly short project duration. We are extremely happy about its schedule management. During the construction, we also expanded the scope of the project constantly. Décor Builders dealt with the new tasks confidently. Décor could find the sub-contractor timely among its massive supplier network, inserted the new tasks to the existing plan, secured material supply, and completed them as scheduled. We stayed in the home throughout the addition project. Décor Builders thought on our behalf and minimized the impact of the construction on our daily life. Décor usually weekly updated us on the project progress and the plan for the coming week. When the power or the water was shortly cut off due to the project, we were always notified in advance and got prepared. Like all complicated projects, we also encountered a few hiccups. Décor Builders was always on top of these issues and provided its evaluation and solutions to the problem. We usually accepted its solution since we also agreed that the solution was the best choice under the circumstance. We are very satisfied with its service and highly recommend Décor to be considered for your next project.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience working with Guy and team. They executed our plans flawlessly and their customer service was next level. What stood out for us: - They have extremely high attention to detail. Everything they did looks perfect. They didn’t cut any corners, would proactively fix the smallest imperfections that were noticed, and did not leave until 100% or the work was done. - They are very honest. If there was additional work that needed to be done or an additional cost, we were given a heads up and provided a detailed explanation of the reason. They also never sent a bill or asked for payment if they didn’t yet complete every aspect of what was outlined in our contract at a given milestone. - The entire team is always available and responsive. Also, any request that I had was dealt with immediately. We never felt we were left waiting for someone to come do work at our home, which can often happen at the end of a project with the final punch list. - Full service. Any problems that came up, Guy or someone on his team would solve it. We were surprised with needing to move a load bearing wall - Guy found an architect. When items went missing or appeared damaged, Ellie (office manager) called the supplier and reordered for us. I also really enjoyed working with Anne, the designer that they contract with. - Going above and beyond. We had a new problem at our house right after our remodel was complete that had nothing to do with the work Decor Builders did for us. Guy was kind enough to send people over to help.

We hired Decor Builders (contractor) after posting a backyard covered-patio project on an on-line bid solicitation site. Our primary contact was Guy Kramarski, one of the Decor Builders owners. Guy is always pleasant, has a smile on his face, and wants to please, and is flexible. The project turned out to be longer, more difficult, and more costly than expected. Some of the causes for these issues were out of the contractor's control like Covid and the City of San Jose's available staffing to review and permit the plans. Other issues arose because the contractor typically wants to work with complete plans (e.g. down to specifics such as, location of new electrical outlets, etc). We had hired an architect and structural engineer for the planning process, but their plans did not have sufficient detail which required more interactions with them and further delays. The contractor hired a subcontractor (Jose & company) to complete much of the work. They did an excellent job. They also preferred to have more complete plans and would have preferred the details to be there from the beginning, as well. The job is complete. The finished product exceeds our expectations and the quality of the work is superb. Comments from those who have seen it are: "beautiful; high-end; quality and top notch."

We had a very large project to knock down an existing outdoor staircase, add a number of new decks, and rebuild stairs. The project ended up being larger than expected, due to some structural (rot!) issues we found in the existing structure along the way. Guy and team helped us expertly navigate that process. The new decks, railings, and stairs, look great. We also put in a new pass-through window and french doors and everything came out great. We are really happy with the finished product!

Had a great experience working with Tal and team on our recent major remodel. We’re really happy with the results. They opened out our downstairs living space with new structural beams and added a big 24’ bifold door across the back of the house. We went for a minimal modern finish with smooth walls and a sleek kitchen. I had a vision, but Tal was a great help with style choices and details. I’m a keen DIY-er. This is the first time I’ve outsourced any house related improvements. I was apprehensive to get anyone in, but I’m really glad we chose Decor builders. Tall put me at ease from day 1, understanding my want to be involved in all the details. He took my vision and with a very talented team, made it a better reality than I could imagine. There were some challenges along the way. (Delays due to the city, and appliance and window delivery) but the team adapted and dealt with them all. The team worked really hard throughout the ~3 month project. We lived in the property for the duration and they were always courteous and tidy. We have already recommended them without hesitation.

We recently built our custom home with Decor Builders team and I have to say it was quite an adventure. Where do I start? Building your own custom home can be very complicated and hard unless you have the right guidance. I’ll start with the fact that Tal and Guy that were managing our project did absolutely great job they got so personal with us and seems like they care as much as they’re building their own home, we actually became very good friends while working together. The design team, the construction crew, the organization, the attention to details, the patience and the professionalism made our project process Smoother than we could ever imagined. I can only say this is not our first rodeo and we definitely experienced the best service That was expressed by high workmanship and timelines. Decor Builders delivered what they had promised and went above and beyond our expectations, we actually finished the project 28 days before the contract deadline. Just finished a home expansion and remodeling with Decor Builders and I was very pleased with there services. From the first meeting Tal came and it’s just felt natural. He spent almost 3 hours going over different ideas of how to bring my vision to an actual plan. I renovated my family property in San Carlos and we ended up adding 500 square to the existing 1800 square house. We added a full master suite and reconfigured the living and kitchen space. We also replaced floors throughout the entire house and remodeled the bathrooms. The overall process went pretty well, they had great design services and helped to get the plans going pretty fast. Communication was really good, Tal was there for any question or concern and the crew know exactly what they were doing. They completed the project on time including some changes I made during the project. Guy and his team were very professional. We were really impressed by the quality of the work he provided and extremely happy with the final results. Guy and his team have a great vision and they are very creativity. Over all the best thing we like about Guy is that he really cared for us to stay happy with our choices even that we change our mind several times regarding different things and I think this personal care worth it all. It was a pleasure working with Tal in my recent house remodel: the renovation of two bathrooms, installation of new floors and painting of the entire house. The result looks beautiful, and the project itself went very smoothly. Tal was involved in the process end to end, from the initial phase helping me weigh decide between several design options. He was then very helpful in the choice of materials, and how they worked in the design I chose. When the project started, it was very clear what to expect in terms of timeline and next steps. The project itself came out even better than expected, the tiles and fixtures for the bathroom blended perfectly together not only from a design perspective, but also the execution was very detailed and impeccable. We recently had our entire new home remodeled and added 500 square ft for our new master suite. My new master bathroom is AMAZING! Couldn’t ask for any better for this entire project, so many details to pay attention to from the planing phase all the way to the actual construction part and Decor builders were just outstanding. Guy was managing our project, him and the whole design team were great and gave us great ideas regarding layouts, they also took us for shopping and helped us with the entire design + they provided 3D photos and video so we could actually see our house before start working and that was very helpful. The construction part was smooth and efficient, they were finishing entire work on time with no delays even tho we had to add some time because we wanted to change the original plan on the kitchen area. In the overall they performed even better than we expected and we can only say big THANK YOU for the entire Decor team, you guys are super and we will definitely recommend you to everyone who wants to remodel or add to there house.

Working with Guy and his team was a pleasure. I wanted to make all the choices of materials and layout. Guy did a great job referring me to local resources that he was used to working with, which was very helpful. Because of the pandemic most things had to be ordered on line, which created some delays and disappointments. Every worker that Guy sent was fantastic! I appreciated their attention to quarantine issues. The cost seemed high, but that was in part due to my taste in materials. The project was finished quickly and came out beautifully. Next comes the kitchen! By the way, could have never done this job without Houzz! We ordered several items from them and the customer service was great.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of working with Guy and his team at Decor Builders on our first home. Our house is a 100 year old Craftsman, so needed a fair bit of updating. We had done a bunch of research and had gotten estimates from 3 different companies before we decided on moving forward with Guy. From the get go, Guy was incredible. He was the quickest to respond, super thoughtful and upfront (the other two companies kept rescheduling, and both of them rolled up with a lousy attitude - as if they didn't want our business). Guy meticulously planned out our kitchen and bathroom remodel and rewiring. He even pointed us in the right direction for new windows/doors/HVAC. Initially all the projects we wanted to do was super daunting - how were we going to have the budget for it all!? No worries though, as Guy helped us with securing a Benji Loan, and made sure we could fit everything into the scope of work. There were a couple of hiccups, but that has to be expected, as there is always something else hidden from the naked eye. His entire team were very friendly (Malencio, Chito, Miguel, Dan), and they each did amazing work in their fields of expertise. My dog wasn't a huge fan of the strangers in the house, but she's reaping the benefits now. Once everything was done and dusted..Wow! It was literally like walking into a brand new home. I recently completed an entire home remodeling that included a whole reconfiguration of the kitchen and dining area, 2 bathroom, flooring, paint, recessed light in entire house and new windows with Guy and decor builders in San Jose. We did a whole-house interior remodel and are quite pleased with our experience with Tal. Despite the chaos and uncertainty of the pandemic, he was trustworthy, helpful, and responsive throughout the process. We had interviewed 4 other contractors or design/build firms and ultimately chose to work with Tal. His company won our business because he was more engaged, asked smart questions, and offered really useful suggestions throughout the bid process. We started our bid process before COVID hit, and Tal was very flexible and accommodating as we were dealing with the delayed sale of our prior home and our desire to change the scope of work. After we sold our other home and could move forward, work began promptly and was mostly completed well within the original timeframe estimated. I say mostly because there were a handful of things that weren't finished when we moved in -- some of those things were due to change orders or materials we weren't able to get in time, while a few were fixes or other unfinished work. I would give the workmanship of Tal's crew a 9 out of 10. To Tal's credit, he has been 100% responsive to any concerns we've brought up and has addressed every item we told him about. He operated with transparency and honesty throughout the entire process, and responded to every concern professionally and earnestly. We would not hesitate to recommend Tal or Decor Builders to any of our friends or family.

Tal is a stand up guy who delivers on his promise. What i really liked about working with him is his honest opinion on the project, like while selecting tiles he would tell what combination would work best irrespective of whether it was expencive or not. He sees the work from a customer's point of view which is very important. One of the faucets in the bathroom was mis-aligned from the rest of the fixtures, when I brought it to his attention, he quickly fixed the issue by rearranging the underlying plumbing. He team includes Victor and Junior who themselves are very experienced and down to earth and good people. It was a pleasure working with them.

I asked for his name and number and did not even bother to shop around. I dialed, Tal answered and we hit it off on the first visit. That visit set the tone for the entire project. Cost- I believe reasonable. Quality of workmanship - superb. Staying on construction timeline he set - outstanding. He offered his decorator services too and while not part of the quote, he often gave tips. I had hired a decorator previous to meeting Tal. Bottom line - he delivered on his promise. His primary objective was to make my husband and I happy. As a result, he was patient, flexible and kind. All work done with a smile. His crew were no different. We are very happy with the outcome. Tal has my strongest recommendation as a great person for your upgrade or rebuild.

Process went very well. The challenging part was staying home during construction mostly due to my husband’s poor health. Guy was my project manager and he was very helpful, him and the whole crew were very kind and respectful of our situation and did there best to complete our project in a timely manner and with the list interruption, I was always kept informed with the next step. I recently used Décor Builders for a major remodeling of my codo. I found them via home advisor site and they responded quickly after my message. I decided on them after more than 1 hr long conversation with Tal who became my project manager for this remodeling. I felt he is knowledgeable, straightforward and easy to talk with. That time the décor Builders doesn't have overwhelming numbers of reviews but I knew I would go with Tal. The codo is more than 15 year old and it needs a new look. The remodeling is for kitchen area, entire floor throughout the codo, TV media cabinet/wall, master bathroom, stairs railing and finally garage wall and floor. I am very pleased with the project that is comprised of planning process, the attention to details, quality of work, schedule for completion, and design ideas as well. The outcome really exceeds my expectation. I am also very happy with my project manager Tal who made this renovation project very easy for me as a woman who knows nothing about renovation but being demanding. Tal understood my needs for exquisite design requirements and assigned an excellent designer for this project. Tal also went materials and cabinets shopping with me several times and made great recommendations on the vendors and materials selections that really fulfilled the design version. I can't be any happier with the renovation. I am smiling now walking from room to room simply admire the transformation of this codo. I highly recommend them !

I hired Decor Builders to extend my house and renovate my Kitchen, from the beginning I knew I choose right, they gave me great ideas, we removed 2 walls(load baring), and completely refaced the kitchen after adding sqft and created the best open spaces I could ever asked. We replaced the entire 1st floor flooring, painted the entire house and they also helped me repipe my old plumbing system. Guy and Tal were always on top from the planing stage, architecture, engineering, getting city approval(I didn’t know it’s so hard to get) and all the way to the construction phase. 2 years ago I started to look to remodel my kitchen and house floors. I met Guy with Decor Builders which was very nice and helpful. Me in my wife lives in Florida and we owned a home in Sunnyvale. Our 10 years renters were about to finish their lease and we wanted to sell the house after they’ll move out.We came to the Bay Area in order to find a contractor that will help us to remodel the house so it will be attractive for the buyers. We interviewed 4 companies and then we met Tal and Guy with Decor Builders. After we sold the house(1 month after we finished the remodel!) I can definitely say that was the best decision we could have made. Tal and Guy were attentive and creative and helped us to remodel our existing layout (3 bedrooms, 2 bath) in a way we didn’t even thought about. They had great advices and even better solutions to maximize the existing layout to create open layout concept so our 1960 house will fit 2020. With all that being said our biggest concern was the fact we were most of the time in Florida and had to do it in a remote control. Tal and Guy made sure to manage the project in a spectacular way and help us get all the parts together! I would like to give them 5 stars for helping us getting this project done and made our house sale easy as possible.
