I hired DeRhodes Construction to do extensive roof structure repairs, repair interior water damage, and install a new roof on my home. The work performed was of excellent quality. The work was performed in a timely manor and as agreed upon. They pay very good attention to all project details, including accounting and site cleanup. Eddie DeRhodes and his company DeRhodes Construction completed a six- month home renovation project (on time) beginning in February 2014 through July 2014. In addition to being a builder, Eddie has an architectural degree and drew up plans for our project. The project consisted of building a new kitchen in our former den space, turning our existing kitchen into a breakfast area and wet bar, adding a new mudroom, laundry room, and family room to the first floor as well as a new side porch and a covered porch with an outdoor fireplace to the back of the house. The project also included two new bedrooms upstairs, the addition of a new jack and jill bathroom, reconfiguring an existing jack and jill bath, and turning an existing bedroom into an upstairs den. DeRhodes Construction also oversaw the implementation of all new heating and cooling systems, and total floor refinishing. We chose to live through the construction process and Eddie worked tirelessly with us to minimize the intrusion of construction on our living space. He creatively secured two work permits, one for the new kitchen, and one for the rest of the project. He built a temporary wall between the new kitchen and old kitchen so that we could continue to use the existing kitchen until the new kitchen was ready to go. We were never without a working kitchen. Eddie met with us each week to explain where we were in the process and what was next. He met with his employees every Monday to discuss the house plans for the week. ( I even saw printed "to-do" lists.) He kept very close watch over the progression of the project so that there was little or no down time between subs and what part of the process was next. His project manager was a great guy-always dependable, willing and available. The DeRhodes employees were respectful, kind, helpful and dependable. It was evident that all the subs had a good working relationship with DeRhodes Construction from brick layers, sheet rockers, plumbers, framers, roofers, electricians, tile and granite installers, cabinet installers, floor installers, to painters and more. Eddie worked very cooperatively with our kitchen designer and it was a seamless process. Our punch list was completed in less than a week. We are very pleased with the end result and highly recommend Eddie DeRhodes and DeRhodes Construction.

Eddie and his team were outstanding. From the initial consultation, helping us map out our options, sourcing the materials and the scheduling of labor and install. Our modern and functional kitchen and living room is unrecognizable from the dated cave we used to have. 1st class!! They are top of our list for all and any future renovations.

I hired DeRhodes Construction to design and build a covered porch across the back of my house. The project was quoted at approximately $75k. I could not have been happier with the execution of the project in terms of cost, quality and timing. 3 points standout from this experience - 1 - DeRhodes is both architect and contractor. This matters. His ability to design improved execution. 2 - Really good construction crew for renovations. I felt great about having crew in and around my home while family was running around. 3 - Follow-up service. I didn't need any follow-up on the initial project, but in the couple of years since the project was completed, I still call DeRhodes for smaller jobs and questions/referrals on small maintenance jobs. Even though these request can represent minimum dollar potential for a new job, DeRhodes still treats me like a VIP client. I trust his staying power in an industry with lots of new entrants!

I had 3 criteria when hiring a residential contractor: (1) quality workmanship; (2) work to be completed in a timely manner; and (3) final construction costs on budget. DeRhodes Construction exceeded my expectations with the quality of the construction as well as the professionalism of the subcontractors and supervisors. We were also pleased with the 9-10 week timeline that was promised and met in time for the Holidays. Lastly, the final budget came in 5% higher than original expected, namely due to changes made by us during construction. We could not be more pleased with the final product and highly recommend DeRhodes Construction to friends and family. We would definitely hire Eddie DeRhodes again.

Eddie and his team were top notch, we had a very detailed and labor intensive complete home renovation project that they managed from start to finish. He was very clear with his timelines and delivered on everything he promised. Not only was his team great to work with but he was very competitive when I double checked pricing across the board with other contractors. His attention to detail helped make my wife and I's life very easy throughout the entire project.
