Wally and Desert Design Builders did a great job on our remodel In Desert Horizons . He's very experienced, a great problem solver and completed the entire project on schedule and within our budget parameters. We would definitely use them again if/when the need arises.

The Houzz reviews led us to contact this firm. Wally did telephone in reply and arranged to meet us at the new home we plan to remodel. He was quite agreeable and usefully pointed out some physical constraints limiting our original concept. Although we interviewed another contractor, he was our first choice. Wally promised to submit an estimate for the work we proposed within two weeks of that initial meeting. Hearing nothing after that period, I phoned to prompt him. He apologized, committing to complete the bid later that same week. Three weeks have passed; an estimate has never been received.

Wally just completed our kitchen remodel gut renovation. We could not be more pleased with our experience. Wally's attention to detail, his crews, and his responsiveness and advice throughout this project were exactly what we'd been looking for. He went the extra mile for us on more than one occasion. I would definitely use him again for future projects.

Wally and his wife Gay were great to work with, very responsive, detail oriented, and very helpful in giving ideas. They transformed my place into a Wow Factor! All of my friends have commented on how nice it looks!!

Wally has completed two total renovations for me and has done a great job comming in on schedule and below budget . He is very professional , has great subs , and A good eye for design . Wally Hrdlika from Desert Design Builders is great to work with. He has an excellent sense of design and so was a good help when I was making choices. Wally finished in a timely manner and was always accommodating when I changed my mind. The workmanship is excellent. I had Wally of Desert Design Builders and his principal subs come through our Condo in Indian Wells for ideas on a master bath remodel as well as raising ceiling heights throughout the hallways. Wally is very professional while also being very easy to work with as he envisioned what I wanted and added great ideas when there were areas of different possibilities. My principal residence is 2,000 miles away so I needed someone who could complete the job with my vision which he did and also met me during brief trips in to help with picking out fixtures with suppliers. Of great importance is Wally's relationship with the best material suppliers in the Valley, this process was incredibly easy while finding great product. He has a team of talented sub contractors with great attention to detail, concern for the homeowner in regard to prep, clean up, minimal invasion to areas not being worked on, and most important, quality workmanship and attention to detail. We were very happy with the finished product and will continue to use Desert Design to remodel remaining areas in the future.

I have used Desert Design to totally remodel 4 bathrooms and a casita, to install a stone/granite firepit and built in grill and to install new doors. I currently am in the process of updating my dining room and bar area with new granite and cove moldings and will continue to use Desert Design for any future work in my home. The skill of the workmanship, especially in the are of tile design and installation, is fantastic. Personal attention to all detail takes place throughout the entire project. Wally, the owner, spent countless hours with my husband me visiting vendors to insure we had the highest quality in all materials. He follows up after the work is completed with a check list to make sure that we are 100% satisfied.
