I’ve had the opportunity to work with Don on two home construction projects. On the first project, I received two quotes and Don’s bid was the high. I ended up choosing the low bidder and deeply regret my decision. The contractor I went with used the cheapest subcontractor’s he could find, underestimated lumber quantities, and was never on site so I ended up doing most of the work myself.
