About Us

EcoLux Construction LLC specializes in building, designing and remodeling custom luxury homes on the Eastside of Seattle, WA, (the Bellevue, Issaquah and Sammamish Northwest Regions). We build, rebuild, remodel and restore luxury homes from the ground up, creating open floorplans that are equally functional as they are beautiful. We are committed to design excellence, creating homes that are equally trendy and timeless. We are a husband and wife duo established in 2016 after years of designing/building our own homes and after selling our luxury and internally renowned beauty brand.

Avoid Steve and Ecolux at all costs. Used for bathroom remodel and the workmanship was extremely poor while he priced it like it was a high end remodel. Nothing was done right the first time without us having to point out their obvious quality issues. Left us very concerned about all the quality issues that likely exist which we couldn't see to point out. Talking many chipped tiles, dozens of holes in grout, plumbing fixtures not working properly just to name a few. Steve should have been embarrassed the quantity and type of defects we had to point out, but he had no interest in correcting the workmanship behaviors when it was brought up to him. On top of that, Steve and his crew would repeatedly make design decisions without consulting us and would get upset when we confronted them on their baffling decisions.

I take pride in my craftmanship and this review is not a reflection of my work. Avoid doing work for this guy at all costs!! He is very rude and just not a nice person. This bathroom looks beautiful!! This customer had a very low end budget that I kindly gave him a very high end bathroom. I worked with him to stay in a $24K budget for his large master bathroom (easily a $50K job, I have to stop being nice) I transformed his very awkward tub and shower into a curb less shower and free standing tub wet area. I requested feedback from him throughout the construction process (apparently he has never had anything custom built for him). After the initial installation of tile or most anything, I ask the customer to go through and put blue tape on any areas that need more attention. We did this but this customer thought I shouldn't be asking for his feedback until I was completely done. He was very rude to me and my subcontractors, belittling me and my workers. Every tile, every grout hole and very plumbing fixture works perfectly and looks amazing. This customer should be embarrassed for leaving this review after everything he put me and my crew through.

We couldn't be happier with our new kitchen! It turned out better than expected and the process was smooth and painless. Steve definitely exceeded our expectations at every turn. He was very responsive, transparent and went out of his way to ensure our convenience. Despite the fact that our remodel happened during a week-long snow storm, our kitchen was transformed in less than two weeks! Steve and his crew were very professional and were clearly focused on quality throughout the process. Additionally, April and the Ecolux design team were very insightful in helping us move through the design phase quickly. There are so many choices out there and yet all of their suggestions seemed perfectly tailored to our taste. Ecolux definitely earned their five stars with us and we would recommend them to anyone looking for a new kitchen, bath or full-home remodel.

Fantastic contractor! Steve was highly involved in the project from start to finish. We gutted our kitchen from top to bottom. We appreciated all the advice and input we were given about what kind of products to use, styles, etc. And, wow, it was the fastest kitchen remodel I’ve ever heard of!! We are very grateful to Steve and his team for all their hard work. We love our new kitchen!!!!!

Commented: pendants? ceiling height?Hi, The penants are Kichler Beckett Everly 8 3/4" Wide Glass Mini Pendant. The ceiling height of the kitchen is 10' and the drop down ceiling over the island is 12".
