We had an excellent experience with EMC Contractors from the initial bid through the final cleanup. The manager who came to our home was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He listened carefully to what we needed, took detailed measurements, offered helpful recommendations, and clearly explained the available options and anticipated timeline. A few days later, the team arrived to begin the project. They completed the new wall, door installation, and electrical work in just one long weekend. Throughout the project, the team kept us updated each day on their progress and was consistently responsive, friendly, respectful, and professional. The finished result is beautiful, and the entire process was smooth and well organized. Our family will definitely work with EMC Contractors again for future projects. We highly recommend them!

Our family just completed a bathroom remodel with EMC General Contractors. There were many great things to say about this project, but one thing we really enjoyed was starting the journey with Pierce, walking through the space, talking about what a final vision would look like. This was not a sales pitch trying to get us to sign up for all the bells and whistles, it was a discussion about what we need, what the space can hold, and what is realistic. It really was a great experience, and our family really felt heard in the process. Once the price and details were confirmed, the project was underway. We were impressed by the ability to start the project quickly, and keep moving forward. The things that we did not think of, no worries EMC had us covered such as installing a dust barrier for the area being worked in. Communication between EMC project management and our family was never a problem, and even questions we had late into the evening ... the text was answered right away. We are already looking forward to our next project!

We hired EMC Construction to build a high end custom sauna and new patio. We were impressed with Pierce and his team every step of the way. In addition to being very professional and communicative, their craftsmanship, creativity and talents are of the highest quality. We highly recommend EMC Construction and Pierce for any design and construction work. Great to work with!

I had nine bids and chose EMC based on a lot of different factors but mostly because of the thorough conversation we had and clear definitive bid that was put together. They started when they said they would start and they finished when they said they said they were going to finish. A few minor inconsistencies due to unforeseen projects that can’t be helped on other job sites, but they came after hours and on weekends to complete unfinished work. Any problem we ran into they were able to troubleshoot and come up with a solution. All of their guys were intuitive and had a lot of experience and were able to work around any minor issues that we encountered day by day. The vision I had was executed perfectly and they even went above and beyond and did a few extra small tweaks that made a huge difference. I appreciate all of the guys on the EMC team and their responsiveness. typically, you can expect construction to be double the cost, and triple the time of your original bid, but that was not the case here. There were some unforeseen costs, but that is to be expected when you start digging underground and finding problems! These guys handled it and I would recommend them 100%.

It was a pleasure to work with Pierce! He really knows his profession! We had both our kitchen and master bath remodeled. Pierce helped us with the plans, how much tile and granite to purchase, coordinated all the paint and brands to buy. He came and supervised all work, inspecting it for the the entire project. We are more than pleased at the quality of work!

Pierce did an amazing job from start, to follow up, to finish and inspection of the work done. SCS built a beautiful Trex deck in my front yard and next month I plan on a new gazebo in the back yard. I've never experienced such professionalism in a long while! I recommend SCS for any of you out there that need your front or back yard remodeled.

We live in a townhome with a small backyard. Out of six bids SCS Concrete was the only ones willing to take the smaller job and the logistics of demoing the backyard. We had new concrete installed with stamped flagstone design that turned out beautiful. We also had a pergola put up with lights and it looks amazing. There was only a couple minor hiccups but the contractor Manny was on top of things and always available my phone.

SCS Concrete simply is awesome! We needed an entire cement pathway running from the front of our condo building to the alley taken out, the ground re-leveled, and pathway replaced with new pavers. Manny came out to our property for a free estimate and then drew up plans for the project. Manny is very easy to get a hold of and we did not have one time where we were unable to get a hold of him. Manny met us at the building supply company and ensured the pavers and blocks we were picking would be compatible for the project. He is very knowledgeable and knows what he is talking about. The crew that came and did the work worked very hard and got the project done on time and on budget. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of the work is superb! We will most definitely be using them for projects in the future.

I highly recommend SCS Concrete for anyone looking to update, repair or create their front or back yard Hardscape areas. They have completed a variety of projects for us here in Rancho Santa Fe over the past 1.5 years, including: building walls for an enclosed patio area connected to the house, laying several large flagstone areas, building retaining walls, and they did incredible job repairing, cleaning, and sealing a massive paver area/driveway. Their work is beautiful and professional. My favorite part about SCS Concrete is the people. Over the past 1.5 years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with 20+ of Manny’s employees, and every single one of them has been incredibly friendly, kind, respectful, and hard working. I’m blown away with how they are all willing to go out of their way to be helpful and make the customer happy. Manny and his team are always on time and work hard until the job is complete. I feel confident in saying Manny and his guys would be able to help you with any Hardscape project you need help with, and you will be very happy with the finished product.

The SCS team are outstanding!! The level knowledge from the sales process throughout the entire project was excellent. Manny and his team were always upfront and honest about my project. They never sold me a dream that they couldn’t back up which was why I went with their group. The paver patio they installed around my pool deck came out beautifully and I will definitely keep working with them for the maintenance moving forward. SCS Concrete Inc. installed a paver patio in our backyard. Although there were a few misunderstandings with the measurements, we figured it out and the results were gorgeous. They even sealed the pavers. I most definitely recommend them.

First of all I want to thank Manny’s designer. He’s been so patient and kind with us helping us find materials and different styles for my backyard. I got a few proposals for my project and it turns out construction is much more expensive than what it seems but worth the results. I like that Manny’s ideas made sure to take advantage of all the space he had in hand. Manny’s workers worked really hard and were at all times respectful towards my home. They installed pavers in my back patio with a fire pit as well as 2 sitting walls and an outdoor kitchen. A small piece of advice would be to prepare for loud noise and some dust around the area. Overall the job turned out amazing, even better that what I had expected and of course it could not have been done without Manny and his team.
