We have nothing but good things to say about Josef and Focus Craft team. Everyone was so professional when it came to handling our home with the upmost respect as we lived in the house during the remodel of both kitchen and bathrooms. The worksmanship exceeded our expectations. The renovation was practically stress free and couldn’t be happier about the end result. I will be giving all my future projects to Focus Craft.

When I started this project some years ago, I reached out to a few contractors that I found online. Some took days/weeks to answer and some never even called back. Josef was highly responsive in comparison to the rest. That being said, I decided to work with Josef and Focus Craft and glad I did so. No matter if you do a renovation or a new house construction, at some point you will run into unwanted surprises and unforeseen circumstances. Josef has always been very proactive in finding solutions and coming up with different ideas, not just executing existing and approved plans. He has given great advice and saved me many headaches, time and money. Focus Craft did an outstanding, high quality work with a great eye for detail when it comes to the details inside that take lots of time. Thank you guys, you are the BEST!

I'd like to start off by saying that the new house looks amazing! Josef and his crew did a great job: they were on time, on budget and they maintained a very clean job site. The staff was extremely friendly from the workers to the admin office. I will continue to refer Focus Craft to my family and friends. Great job once again!

Focus Craft redeveloped a large complicated 6,700 sq ft hillside home for me starting from the studs all the way to completion with total precision and amazing results. Josef and his team developed and organized straightforward solutions from day one and the project proceeded according to plan. I was informed at every step of the way and when the inevitable changes or brick walls came up, they always had clever solutions and work arounds to keep the project moving forward, within budget and on time. An amazing group of people to work with, I highly recommend them!

We can say without hesitation that Josef is one of the best contractors we’ve ever worked with. What began as routine repairs to our stucco exterior grew to long-put-off improvements once we saw the quality of the work done by Josef and his team. We ended up replacing our front porch, removing an unwanted door, installing new railings and adding some changes to the paint job. Every step of the way, Josef was considerate and thorough, and we never had fewer than four workers on-site on any given day (sometimes as many as eight). Josef told us from the start that he wouldn’t leave until we were happy, and he absolutely delivered on that promise. He accommodated last-minute tweaks and went the extra mile to ensure our satisfaction. Highly recommended.

The most professional and courteous contractor I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I have now hired him for two jobs (new roof, and deck repair), and could not be more pleased. I absolutely love the jacuzzi deck! (See before and after pics) His workers are also very courteous and professional. Both jobs were completed ahead of schedule!?!? I don't think I could ever trust anyone else after having the privilege of working with Focus Craft! My only regret is that I didn't come across them sooner!

I moved into a Hollywood Hills home after being stuck in the Valley since 1989. My house was built in the 1930’is and not much on the house was very practical and usable. Bathrooms to small. Kitchen in an odd shape. No central AC. Walls, ceiling windows and doors not insulated. So i decided to completely remodel and add an addition to my house. Before calling Josef, I tried a calling a couple other companies first, but they were non-responsive. So I called Josef Veis with Focus Craft. The first time I called him he picked up the phone and scheduled a meeting right away. When he came to my house he recommended that we get his Surveyor involved cause to determine the property line. Right after that his Architect was brought on board permits were filed and shortly after the project begun. I had to move out from my house for six months. Everything was removed to the studs except some original details that were here since the 30’is and gave the house a unique old Hollywood feel. We opened up walls moved the kitchen to merge it with the Living room area. The kitchen made my place the perfect place to entertain and cook for my friends and Family. We put the addition on the back of the house to make my Master Bathroom and Bedroom bigger and in the more quite section of the house. All I can say that I am living in my dream home and I am very thankful to Josef and his team for making it possible. I can recommend him to anybody that wants to build their dream home.
