Matt and his team, including his sub-contractors, always arrived on the day they were supposed to and always on time. Each one was very pleasant to work with and very competent in doing their job. They all cleaned up after themselves. Matt stayed very close to the budget he had given me, so he knows how to bid a job! I LOVE my beautiful new bathroom, and I will definitely call Matt again for my next remodeling project. It was such a pleasure working with him and his wife, Jessica.

We used GPS (Matt Imse) for a gut renovation of our kitchen, master bath and powder room in our condo in Jupiter. It was, needless to say, a complicated job, given (1) it was in a condo complex, with myriad rules about how, when, where things were to be, (2) care was needed in dealing with the structure and building peculiarities, (3) shipping and product availability problems bedeviling construction projects at the time (summer and fall 2022), and (4) the need to coordinate incorporation of appliances and cabinets for which he was not responsible. Matt gets 5 stars for excelling at all four. In terms of following our condo rules and requirements, he was fully informed, aware and careful. In fact, upon the completion of our project, our property manager did something previously unprecedented--he hired Matt to do some general repair work at our project. Says something. In terms of the building itself, Matt was particularly helpful, both in terms of doing no harm, but especially in finding workarounds to achieve our goals. Regarding the problems of deliveries and availability of materials and appliances, Matt was over-the-top proactive in making sure deliveries and availability didn't impact job completion, particularly important given a November construction "hard stop" imposed on all renovations at our property. Finally, Matt coordinated with our cabinet and appliance suppliers seamless and well. In addition to superbly managing the administrative and scheduling of the project, the project itself was completed meticulously and well. In fact, the primary reason for this review being done over a year after completion, was to make sure that Matt was as diligent with punch list and work warranties, as he was with the actual construction. As it happens, he was diligent, but there wasn't much to worry about--the year or so has gone by without any need to call. The work was done well. The 5-star review is well-deserved all around.

Hired GPS for a bath remodel. Matt and his team of sub contractors were professional and respectful of our home. Matt is detailed oriented and goes out of his way to find solutions that aligned with our goal. If I saw a detail that needed attention, Matt was already on it. There is no stress working with GPS and our finished bathroom makes us smile.

Matt and his crew were very professional and friendly. They showed up when they said they would and cleaned up after each day. All of the contractors that he had work for him were also very professional and meticulous in their work. Matt especially listened well to our suggestions and made the whole process that much easier. GPS installed a new hurricane rated front door for us. They were especially thorough and reasonably priced. Tony Gowers supervised the work. He is easy to deal with, communicates proactively and ensures quality workmanship. The bottom line is that we would use GPS again.

GPS did a great job on repairing a chimney leak above our fireplace. They were very professional, answered all our questions, and gave us different options with all costs involved. Hiring a contractor is the most difficult process because of past bad experiences. I either dealt with bad work or felt like I was being ripped off. I can’t praise GPS enough! Not only did they do a fantastic job on my condo. Their professionalism and honesty is why I’m writing a review today. Specifically, while they were working on my condo they saw that paying to replace a specific wall would be a waste of my money. Instead of replacing it and taking the money I committed to they called and gave me options which ended up saving me thousands. Sure I could of replaced the wall. But the transparency and again professional is nothing I have ever experienced from a company. The finished work was great! Highly recommend!

It was a pleasure working with Matt Imse and his team. They paid attention to detail and let us know immediately when the project (Trex deck) required more time and material than originally projected. They showed up when they said they would and cleaned up thoroughly each day. Matt listened to all our requests and complied when they made sense. I would recommend GPS highly especially for a Trex deck project.

We gutted our 3 bedroom/ 3 bath condo at Ocean Parks in Jupiter and restored it. GPS was very professional and thorough in both their estimate and application to the condo board. The project was scheduled for completion by the end of March 2017. For various reasons, it was completed in May. Matt and his crew were very accessible and responded to our phone calls quickly. The workmanship of the subcontractors was impressive. Matt's attention to detail was very evident in the finished product. We are very satisfied.

The General Contractor/Owner, Matt Imse, responds well and quickly to any questions I might have. He is very knowledgeable and I rely on his expertise to plan my various projects. When my town inspector came to check on the job, he said he has experience with GPS and they do good work. I replied, "I have experience with them, too, and they are the best!"

At Tequesta Trace Condo Association (TTCA) we have used GPS for many years(2009-present) on a variety of projects [re-do of a bathroom shower stall after removing water damaged walls from (drain & floor membrane, threshold, insulation, dry-wall, tile, etc.), replacing and/or repairing exterior doors, building storage closets, Ceiling repairs from 2nd floor toilet overflows and fire sprinklers, exterior repairs of water leaks from wall cracks, windows, shutter anchors holes, etc. (to include interior efforts when required), preparing a unit for rental, repairing unauthorized exterior-interior wall pet wall hole, etc.]. In all cases work efforts were performed professionally in a timely manner, from arriving on time to work area clean-up. Presently they are repairing ceiling damaged caused by a sprinkler head leak. These efforts ranged from $200 to $$9,000+ since becoming TTCA's President, over the last few years the total amount spent with GPS is around $20,000+.

WARNING!! Only call General Property Solutions if you want the very best in professionalism and workmanship. I have worked with this company for over five years and have yet to hear a negative word from any of the clients or vendors. This is rare in South Florida, where mediocre performance is considered acceptable. Not with this company . . . from the office staff to the owner of the company . . . all work together as a well-oiled machine providing YOU, the client, with a superior end product. Matt Imse and his team renovated our 20 year old kitchen, and they did it on budget and on schedule. From our initial discussion on scope and options, to design meetings on quality finishes, to demolition and construction, Matt's GPS team executed flawlessly. They kept us updated on progress constantly via text, phone, e-mail and photos. They were prepared for all contingencies, nothing surprised them. They maintained a clean job site and limited "dust expansion" by using plastic sheets to cover doorways, paintings and furniture. Matt is honest, trustworthy, competent and communicates extremely well. His entire team reflect these traits in their day to day dealings. GPS made this project easier than we expected.
