GMJ Construction

My main worry for my project was sticking to my budget. This company is upfront and honest about their prices. We've worked with GMJ Construction twice now, and both times we've been completely happy. Our first project back in 2022 involved redoing our bathroom. Everything turned out great, and dealing with Memo and his crew was a pleasure. Last month, we finished our second project, remodeling our kitchen, and it also turned out wonderfully. Memo guided us through both projects, always being professional and flexible. We highly recommend GMJ Construction and plan to hire them again in the future.

We were referred to GMJ Construction by an archiect we worked with previously, when the contractor we used for that project couldn't fit us into their schedule for months. Joseph came out to our house to discuss the scope of the projects we had in mind and we knew immediately that this was going to be a great working relationship. Joseph is very personable and professional. He assured us that he would see us through the completion of the work and not leave until we were happy with the final product. He was true to his word, and beyond. He is so detail oriented that he sent someone to replace one sheet of weed barrier when we noticed the only weeds coming up were in a straight line - two months after the completion of our project. GMJ updated two bedrooms for us (new walls, closets, floors, electrical, paint). They gave us a great quote and stayed very close to the budget. We are very happy with the quality of the work and love the finished product. The craftsmen who worked on the project were all very conscientious, and careful to contain the mess and they did beautiful work. When we decided to add some landscaping and hardscaping to the project, Joseph could see that our ideas were vague and called in the help of Ofir, a landscape designer on his team. He coralled our ideas, added his own and came up with a design we loved. Memo oversaw the work on the project. There were a few hiccups, which is the norm for a 70-year-old house. Memo and Joseph were quick to address our concerns and offered several options with how to move forward at each fork in the road. We were also happy with the vendors Joseph suggested. We got quality products, at excellent prices, from places we would have never found on our own. I would recommend GMJ to friends and family and look forward to working with them on future projects.
