We purchased this home out of foreclosure and financed it at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage; thereafter we hired what we believed was a reputable contractor to make necessary and additional renovations at a cost of more than $48,000. Needless to say, the contractor did a very shoddy job and we were in need of someone who would come in and correct the serious violations and shoddy workmanship. Dave Appelt of Green Day Construction was recommended and he came with such professionalism and clarity, including drawings and recommendations that we just loved the way he approached the corrections that needed to be made. We are going to utilize Green Day to make the renovations as well as some added work we would like to have done after an architect gave us drawings for the added work. We live in a Chicago Bungalow and look forward to staying here for a very long time. We trust Green Day will provide just what we want and are waiting for the permits to be issued.
