We just settled on our house in Malvern with Hellings Builders. This is our 11th house and have had both good and bad experiences in our multiple housing projects. We have never had a great experience- until this project with Hellings Builders!! I can’t rave enough about the process- we received a building schedule on day one that showed a daily/weekly plan for what would be accomplished until the date of settlement. Not only did Hellings meet the timelines, they actually exceeded them. Hellings uses dedicated vendors that are timely, efficient and superb. I would describe most of these vendors as “artists”- truly superb workmanship. If you contemplate building- go with Hellings. What a wonderful experience.

We had our new kitchen in DE completely gutted and redone by Hellings. Jay Theuer was a professional perfectionist who says what he does then does what he says Never a hiccup, never a gap, never a lame excuse for any reason. Just action. Cohesiveness, organization and camaraderie. If you have a team who performs in such a manner that you actually miss the guys coming to your home every day to work when the job is finished, then tell me what higher praise you can possibly bestow. Having had experience in building and renovations it was important for us to find a builder that we could trust to provide a quality product. Hellings Builders far exceeded our every expectation. Ross,Barry and the entire Hellings team were incredible. They are true professionals and have building impeccable, quality, custom homes down to a science. Every single trade they used on site were true craftsman and extremely skilled. The attention to detail and making sure that everything was completed just right was greatly reassuring. Additionally, the manufacturers and products they choose to use are among the best which further lets you know this is a quality builder who refuses to use inferior products because they take pride in what they produce since their name is on it. If you are in the market for a new home please just take the time to walk through one of their homes, the quality, fit and finish will sell itself let alone the amazing team standing behind their product!

Ross and Barry along with the rest of the team did an incredible job on our addition. We added a two story addition with family room and a garage, completed June 2017. They were a pleasure to work with, completed the project on time and in budget. They were extremely responsive to any questions we raised during the construction. They were very conscientious of our needs and did a great job keeping the rest of the house livable while construction was ongoing over a 6 month period. They worked well with our architect to ensure the project matched the proposed specifications. We could not be more pleased with the addition!

Hellings built our dream home. Ross and crew were awesome to work with. Very responsive and sensitive to what we were asking or requesting. Ross himself even met me at another one of his houses to help me pick our exterior colors. The quality of his construction is bar none. We have a lot of friends that have used other well-known builders in the area and its quite evident he takes pride in the quality of his homes. We couldn't be happier. Thanks Ross!!

We have been working on the planning stages to remodel our 20 year old small kitchen with the thought of removing a load bearing wall from kitchen to living room, and making use of our dining room by transitioning our existing kitchen to the dining room, and opening up the space. We also wanted to redo our fireplace, and knew what we wanted, and they worked with us to create a beautiful fireplace. Because our room was being opened up, details were important. We hired Hellings Builders to do the entire renovation. From the very first day, Ross Hellings' team was professional, consistent, patient, eased our minds from the very beginning, and we couldn't have asked for a better team to do the renovation. We are very happy, and would hire them again.

This company has high integrity and a terrific depth of knowledge of materials, design, techniques, and execution. The members were all highly skilled, highly customer-focused, well treated within the company and loyal to the company, and were given the time, tools, support, and development of skills to do an exemplary job. This is a well-managed company with a stable of highly talented people at all levels. We honestly felt that they took the same care to build our showpiece front porch that they would have taken to build onto their own personal home. Without exception, everyone who wandered by the construction site and paused to look and have a word first stated something to the effect, “that is incredible,” then asked, “HOW did you FIND these builders?” (answer: Houzz reviews)

Jay spent a considerable amount of time with us even without a commitment to build. Jay provided advice and recommendations that shaped our ultimate decisions. The project site was always immaculate and the quality of the workmanship was amazing. The entire crew always demonstrated their commitment to exceptional quality and customer service. We would highly recommend them.

We have supplied Natural Stone such as Granite & Marble for R.C. Hellings since 2007. Working with this company is the best and its been a pleasure to be a part of all their projects. We enjoy working with R.C. Hellings because they are organized from the office to the jobsite, they are precise, take care of any issue that may arise immediately, and are honest. When we step on the jobsite we are provided with every piece of information we need before we can even put the toolbox down. They offer the highest quality products and customer service.
