Homes By Engineers was one of the companies we asked for an estimate for our kitchen renovation. And while we ended up choosing one of the other contractors who had been referred to us by a friend, Shaun was a real pleasure to deal with. Always very quick to respond, he has a great sense for customer service and he provided us with a very well laid out estimate. We would definitely consider hiring him for future projects.

Shaun and his team from Homes By Engineers performed feasibility studies for me earlier this year to help me determine general technical information about a rental property before placing an offer. Thanks to their study, I have avoided purchasing that property which had potential costly repairs and remediation work. I have now purchased and successfully rented out a property of which we are comfortable with and are planning to build a custom home on it within a few years. A relatively small cost for their professional report has saved me a large multiple of time and money. Based on their knowledge, communication, and expertise, I recommend hiring them.

Shaun was fabulous with us, always kind and courteous. And answers our concerns in a timely fashion. Rebuilt our Solarium, that had been leaking. And he did a great job. Would definitely recommend him.

We met Shaun in 2016, him and his team helped us with several renovation projects over the years: Shaun is very knowledgeable in construction / home improvement and he has a civil engineering degree. Our house is around 35 years old, he was able to give us excellent recommendation to make necessary improvement to fit our budget. Shaun is very detail oriented. For example, we told him that we would like to have the back gate being able to slide open easily and fit a regular car width, so we can drive in easily to park our car in our back yard. He made it happen and the rail mechanism he designed works really well even though we have a sloped driveway. Another impressive job that he did for us was straightening our old brick fence and brick column. ( We had a few contractors over but he was the only one who told us he could do it). All the renovation work was done in timely manner and the price he quoted us is the final price we paid. We highly recommend his work and will for sure hire him again for future projects.

Sean has always been a real pleasure to work with. He's proactive and detail oriented. As a custom stair contractor , that's critical for project success. I would reccomend him for any design build project.
