What impressed me most about HyggeHus was the way they combined design and construction into one coordinated process. My project involved much more than updating the finishes in an existing sunroom. The roof structure, proportions, exterior appearance, insulation, water management, and interior comfort all needed to work together. During design and PreConstruction, the HyggeHus team helped me understand how a new pitched roof could solve the practical problems while also improving the appearance of the house. They considered details such as the roof form, overhangs, soffits, flashing, gutters, and how the renovated room would connect visually and functionally with the rest of our home. The completed roofline looks intentional and appropriate for the house. Inside, the former sunroom has become a comfortable Hygge room that feels warm, inviting, and now my favorite place in my home. The craftsmanship is evident in the way the exterior and interior details come together. I appreciated having one team responsible for developing the design, coordinating the technical details, and carrying the project through construction. The finished space reflects the original vision while also solving the underlying problems that led me to begin the renovation.

Zeke and Shelley took the time to really understand my concerns and walk me through every step of the process. They used incredible creativity to stay on my budget, kept the space clean (their dust control was amazing!), and their craftsmanship—especially the cabinetry—was just stunning.
