I interviewed 5 companies on Houzz and after reading reviews, I chose Indigo. Lisa was the person that came out, answered questions and took measurements in order to give estimate for a galley kitchen full remodel. She also gave me plenty of resources so that I could pick out what I wanted. Lisa left soon after but David Hyrne, the owner, told me he would be in charge. After a few hiccups, which were handled, the job came in only a week over and price under the estimate. The items that David ordered for me and the finishing touches his contractors did were beyond my expectations. I am so pleased with the work and would recommend them to anyone looking to remodel any part of their home. Joyce d.

My Gold Coast condo needed some renovation/remodeling in the kitchen and master bath, plus painting and fresh carpet. Most contractors only wanted to do a total gut and declined the job. But Indigo Remodeling was more than happy to do the work. Everyone I was in contact with through the process-Lisa, David H, David I and all the subcontractors - was professional, prompt, helpful, courteous and pleasant. The job was on budget, and despite the HOA and COVID building restrictions, several holidays, and weather, was also completed on time. The tile work, countertops and painting are perfect. I would recommend Indigo to anyone, and would hire them again if needed.

David and team did an absolutely phenomenal job on our home remodel project!! Taking on our fixer-upper was no easy task - we only had sub-floor throughout the entire 1st floor, ended up removing 3.5 few walls and barely had half a kitchen to work with - but Indigo Remodeling was up for the challenge! Throughout the entirety of the project, we felt connected with the team and informed on the schedule. When concepting work at the beginning of the project, they listened to what we wanted, provided an array of options within our budget and we discussed the pros/cons of everything. Any time there were any changes or "unforeseen issues" we were contacted immediately and the entire team collaborated to provide solutions. I can say without a doubt we never made an uninformed decision and the results speak for themselves! We highly recommend Indigo for any home remodeling/general contracting needs - we will continue to use them far into the future!

I highly recommend Indigo Remodeling for any renovation work that needs to be done in your home. After coming up with ideas and a general design theme for what I was hoping to accomplish with a remodel I found Indigo simultaneously through a web search and a recommendation from a good friend who had just remodeled his place. From the very first interaction through the completion of the project the team from Indigo was responsive, honest, and great to work with. During the initial walk through I was really impressed with David Itah's - (the owner) honest and straightforward approach. His realistic response that some ideas were just not worth the potential cost was greatly appreciated. The estimate was reasonable and right in the ballpark of what I had hoped. Next, I worked with Lisa as we finalized the different components of the design including trips to countertop locations to see stone, tile shops, and comparison of paint colors. All the while we compared notes online as different fixtures were selected. The main project coordinator (David H) and the rest of the team from Indigo as well as all of the subcontractors that did the construction were fantastic. They showed up when they said they would and were nice to be around. Most importantly, the craftsmanship was outstanding. During the process a few other items were added to the scope of the project and the team's response was always to find a way to make it work. Perhaps my strongest recommendation for Indigo comes from creativity in solving a problem in the middle of the project when the bathroom vanity arrived damaged. They facilitated returning the vanity for a refund and then came up with a very creative (and less expensive) way to semi-custom build a bathroom vanity to ensure colors were correct and matched the rest of the bathroom, allowed additional use of leftover stone from kitchen counters and ensured the fit would be perfect. In the end the team from Indigo was able to stage the project so I could still live in my house while construction was ongoing, was responsive to all of my requests and was a pleasure to work with. Apart from additions to the scope of the project that I added along the way we stayed right on target with the estimate for cost and timeline. I am so happy to have a completely refreshed home with an entirely new look. Indigo will definitely be my first call if I move and need to remodel a new place.

We needed a total refresh of our space and after careful consideration chose Indigo for our project. We had a good vision of what we wanted and David Itah (owner) and the Indigo team brought our vision to life. From the original walkthrough, David and Lisa (Project Manager/Designer) understood the challenges of the project and were excited to make our home functional, beautiful and done right. The Indigo team brings industry knowledge, resources, professionalism, patience, and - when you need it – a sense of humor and optimism to the project. Everyone was quick to respond, accessible and helpful; if there was an issue or concern that we brought to David’s attention his response was “I am going fix this for you, we want to get this right.” Our project required us to be thoughtful with the design, as a 3rd-floor walkup unit we did not have the ability to add square footage. The Indigo team worked with us on the design, bringing their experience to further enhance our ideas. For us, our project was enormous and disruptive. Indigo made us feel like we were one of their top clients working with us patiently to guide us to decisions. Lisa was tremendous with resourcing products and helped guide decisions to ensure that measurements, timelines, and the design would work. Highlights include the chef’s kitchen and walk-in shower in our master bath that Indigo converted from a Jacuzzi bath. Overall our experience was fantastic. Renovations are stressful however choosing Indigo minimized the stress as we selected and trusted the team with our project. We have been back in our home for 6+ months and the Indigo team remains committed. We cannot thank this team enough and frequently say how much we love our space. We are so appreciative of everyone that was involved in this project and love our home. Thank you again to David, Lisa, David H, Marcin, Henry, and the rest of the Indigo team.

I had my outdated kitchen remodeled by Indigo in March 2019. They removed an island, extended the wood floors, created a library/study area, and installed new cabinets and appliances. My suggestions and adjustments were well received by the owner David and the design team to realize my dream. I absolutely LOVE my new kitchen. It is crisp and streamlined and a joy to cook and hang out in. The quality of the tile work, wood floor work and countertop work is true craftmanship. The Indigo crew was skilled, reliable and friendly. The work was completed on time, and my place was cleaned up each day. David goes out of his way to make sure that the customer is completely satisfied. If you want a professional remodeling job done at a reasonable price from a contractor that you can depend on, I highly recommend Indigo Remodeling.

Just finished our master bathroom renovation! I finally got my steam shower!! It turned out amazing. The tile work, double vanity, the sconces. It all turned out so well. Lisa, the Project Coordinator was the best! Throughout the entire process, they walked us through everything. From picking out the fixtures, tiles and paint to the design and layout. And the contractors that was here working was so wonderful. Pablo was polite and very knowledgeable. We always felt comfortable with him in our home. There were some small hiccups along the way (as we expected) but everything was resolved quickly and effectively. The project manager was super responsive and always brought things back on track immediately.

David, Lisa, and the Indigo team gut renovated our kitchen and master bath in Summer 2019. We were working with a very tight timeline, as we wanted to start renovation the day we closed on the house so that the work could be completed before having to move in. They were incredibly accommodating and responsive to our needs, and even worked with us to walk through the house before closing in order to provide us with a quote and project scope/thoughts. We brought to them some pretty fully-baked design plans (no structural changes to the footprint), and they did an amazing job of bringing them to life, including suggesting small changes or details that we hadn't considered, but that really made for a beautiful finished product. Not only did they do great work, but the contractors they worked with were professional, friendly, and respectful of our home. We trusted David and his team to deal with the details, and were able to pop in as desired, versus spending a ton of our time overseeing progress, etc. He was also gracious enough to let us bring in and worked around additional vendors with whom we had a relationship for painting and non-project-related flooring, which we appreciated, and felt above-and-beyond. He was incredibly responsive to our texts and emails, and helped facilitate quick decisions and problem-solving, where needed. He and his team managed to deliver us a fully finished product within the time estimate and in line with their initial quote (only budget increases were where we made decisions to upgrade certain appliances or components), and he regularly communicated costs and timing changes throughout the process. We interviewed a few companies, and researched quite a few more that we didn't; ultimately, we went with Indigo because we were confident in both their work product and their communication/business process. We would recommend them to anyone with absolute confidence, and will assuredly use them for any future projects.

Listen I just bought my first house ever and it needed a ton of work. I was scared to even buy a house that needed renovations as I'm a single mom and this was my first ever huge purchase on my own. I've heard horror stories about contractors taking advantage of people and I needed this house done right the first time (and in a reasonable amount of time) - seriously I had no time for mayhem and dust in my home for a half a year with little kids running around. I heard about Indigo from a good friend, read some reviews, and gave them a call. David responded to my inquiry promptly and gave me a super honest quote. He explained what he could do and couldn't do based on the older building I live in, and communicated clearly throughout the entire experience. Just to make sure I covered all my bases, I shopped around a bit. I did receive one less expensive quote but went with David b/c I truly believe you get what you pay for - and he wasn't even close to the most expensive quote. I can't really explain it, but I just trusted him and his team to deliver quality results. I'm SO glad I went with my instincts because my kitchen, master bedroom and bath and family area are GORGEOUS now. I get compliments all the time and I would refer david's team to anyone looking for a contractor. Thank you guys!!!!

I worked with these guys and had a wonderful experience - after shopping around for trustworthy contractors (actually super hard to find in Chicago), a friend of mine recommended Indigo. I'm so grateful that I found them because my space looks GORGEOUS and they were great to work with. They gave me fair prices and I never felt taken advantage of -also, they were diligent about staying on my timeline. My master bedroom, master bath and kitchen are exactly what I wanted - David even gave me some ideas that made my vision even more beautiful! I highly recommend indigo to anyone looking to remodel their home!

This review is LONG overdue. Indigo and David and Yakir and everyone get 5 stars from me. Before hiring Indigo, I met with around 5 or 6 contractors to put a full bathroom in a tiny (TINY, under the stairs) space to go with the guest bedroom we have in our basement. It seemed like an impossible job to everyone and no one could see my vision of it except for David. He seemed confident and competent and gave the best estimate. It wasn't the cheap bid so I would hire them for financial reasons, it wasn't the highest bid so I would be ripped off, it was a very realistic price. So I hired them fast. Everyone that worked on the project was professional and efficient and friendly. The architect that was involved in the project was great, too. David knows a very qualified person for all parts of a complex job. And the quality of all their work was high. I never had second thoughts during the whole process. I have opinions on how I want things to look and David and his crew helped me find all the fixtures and trim and tile that I wanted. Even personal trips with David to look at tile. All my many emails got responded to in a timely manner and David even understood my absurd preference for email and text over calling on the phone. I'm not a morning person, but David and his team made. it. work. I didn't have a deadline for this project, but it was completed very efficiently. If anything I made it slower than it had to be. David answered all my questions and concerns and just made the process easy since it was my first big home project. He even listened to my ideas for other potential projects and made suggestions. I plan to hire them again if I decide to go through with the other projects. I recommended Indigo to my mom for her bathroom project, too, and her review is a few reviews below here. HIRE THEM!!! It will be the best hire you will make. I actually feel bad when my home owning pals tell me their struggles with bad or uncommunicative contractors, but then I get EXCITED because I can tell them about Indigo. They do a lot of big and small projects and are busy and expanding, but they always felt like a small, personal, and close-knit group of people David trusted.

David, Omrii, and his team were AMAZING to work with. We were really new to the whole renovating process and they made it extremely easy and simple. They completed a kitchen renovation & two bathroom renovations in a month - which was so impressive. Everything was done professionally and done the right way. We actually ended up working with David again on another renovation when we had a pipe burst and flooding/water damage. We had renters moving into our condo in two weeks and David and his team completed the renovation in time. We'd trust Indigo with ANY project out there as they are extremely professional, helpful, and ensure the job is done the right way.

David, Omri, and the team were like our close friends during the complete renovation of my condo. I completely gutted the place from taking out the entire kitchen, to scraping the ceilings, to new floors, to breaking into walls to have more closet space, and gutting bathrooms - it was a lot of work, but these guys did everything I asked for and even more within the given time frame and actually came out below budget soooo- 5 stars! If/when I buy my 2nd home, I'll be calling my favs! Love you guys!!!

GREAT COMPANY, SERIOUSLY!!! We are currently having plans in the works for an addition, however we really should have reviewed them last summer when they did our kitchen. Long overdue! We had an amazing project manager and the office staff was always available and communication was smooth. Absolutely amazing team and very talented to say the least. Today we will be meeting up again to go over the new addition to start working out the plans. If everything goes the same way it did last summer we are going to have a beautiful new master bedroom and bathroom suite with walk out deck for the summer 2019! Our kitchen went smooth last year and was actually finished in about 3 weeks. We understand this new project is a bit more extensive, but these guys are top notch... will share the photos when everything is done and again looking forward to another great adventure in home renovation! Would recommend these guys to everyone!

After doing extensive research, my daughter recently selected Indigo Remodeling to add a bathroom to her Chicago home. It looked like an impossible job to me as it had to fit in an extremely small space. But the results were stunning! Naturally, when I decided to redo a hall bath in my own home, I hired Indigo myself and I have never made a better construction decision in my life. My expectations were high, and Indigo has exceeded them. David, a lovely person, was communicative from start to finish and all the workmen were pleasant and professional. Site manager Yakir--friendly, respectful, and articulate-- kept me in the loop and did a great job overseeing the whole event from start to finish. Designer Lisa is another of the company's assets, quick to respond and provide options for accoutrements. At the end, a crew came in to clean the work area and you'd never know my house was a construction site yesterday. The whole process went like clockwork and my new bathroom is so beautiful I may have a party just to show it off! Indigo Remodeling is a class act!

I worked with David and his team from Indigo on an entire house renovation over a year ago. Never got around to leave him a review here on Houzz. What an amazing experience from beginning to end, and beyond! Not only was the job done beautifully, it was done within a reasonable timeline. His customer service extended beyond finish. A year later we had some small issues, I probably could’ve fixed with my own two hands, but I’m lazy and unhandy, I called David and it was taken care of right away. Where do you ever see this level of professionalism??!! I cannot recommend this company high enough! You can go shop around and find headaches, or you can go with Indigo and rest assured

Once again, we could not be happier with the work of this company. We had a complete kitchen remodel last year, and quickly signed on for a complete bathroom gut and renovation. David came out to give a quote, and was friendly, professional, and efficient. The team showed up on time each day and was professional and helpful. Jackie, the designer, walked us through all the design options and gave us some good recommendations. It was fun to work with them!

My stepdad was a plumber and he always told me not to trust general contractors because they will take advantage of the customer and overprice the job. This was NOT the case with Indigo. They were extremely cordial, honest, up-front and customer service oriented from the get-go. They were punctual when it came time to meet me at my business and give me an estimate on the bathroom and the kitchen. I've been considering remodeling the bathroom and the kitchen at my office for quite some time. but wasn't sure if it would economically feasible. David was understanding and concerned about my situation and completely honest with his advice and suggestions. In the end he gave me a more-than-fair estimate for the job and I am very confident that, because the price is so right, we can move forward with the project. I would recommend Indigo to anybody that's considering remodeling their home or business in and around the Chicago area.

I had Indigo do some painting, repair some plumbing in my condo, and also install vanity cabinets and a quartz countertop. They were a great company to work with. Extremely responsive and very quick to get started on projects. High quality work as well. They were always available immediately to begin the work. I will be using them in the future.

Very happy with our choice to work with Indigo Remodeling, and specifically Omri as the main project manager, along with his crew. These guys work fast, but meticulously. As it happens, we had several requests throughout the remodel that we did not originally plan (or have priced), but Omri worked with us to provide fair pricing, and even a few items at no charge. They did a complete remodel of our 3/2.5 condo in Northbrook... kitchen, bathrooms, floors, trim, paint, fixtures, and even the garage.

We just purchased a new home in December and the person we bought the house from told us what a great contractor he had who did all the work in the house and what really sold us on the property. Long story short we ended up hiring him to do numerous jobs around the house not only did David and his team come in ahead of schedule but he was honest quick cleaned up everything and everything turned out just as imaged. We cousins be any happier and have referred him to numerous friends since.

Absolutely great company! We had 3 contractors come out to do estimates. Omri was by far the most thorough. We were removing 2 walls for an open floor concept and he was the only contractor that looked in the attic and basement to verify if the walls were load bearing. Knowing the cost of our remodel up front saved us a lot of headache. I work from home and his crew was always very respectful. Omri was onsite everyday, making sure every detail was to our standards. He was very responsive via text and email. The quality of work was amazing. We get compliments from family and friends every time they come over. We were so impressed with everything that we kept adding more things for them to update and fix. The project was estimated for 3 months and he was just under, even with all the change of orders. You definitely won't be disappointed if you choose Indigo Remodeling

David and his team were excellent! We couldn't have asked for anyone better! Our kitchen turned out better than we could have imagined and we will definitely use Indigo on our future construction/remodeling projects. Prior to meeting with David, we had at least five other contractors who visited our home to give us an estimate and every single one of them were flaky and never got back to us when they said they would even when we would follow up. With David, he always followed up with us and kept us posted on when different items such as our cabinets would be coming in and what days and times him and his team would be coming over to work on our kitchen. He cares about quality and doing a great job in everything that he does. He also made sure that both my husband and I were happy with how things were going every step of the way. I would highly recommend using him, he does great work and is reliable.

Indigo remodeling- You guys are my hero's. I came to this company about 2 months ago to have some work done in our house. I spoke with David on the phone, he was intelligent, knowledgeable and honest. David possessed all the traits you want in a person when you are going to go into business with them. Over the phone he actually mentioned a cheaper way of doing the job I needed done, which really sealed the deal and proved to me his was an honest guy. So, Omri and his Team came down to our place and started fixing it up and they did such a great job. I really was amazed to see the progress as it went along. There was was incredible, and impeccable. I've gave solid recommendations to all my friends about Indigo. You guys will really go far. I'm glad to see some honest people in the construction trade.

We hired Indigo remodeling to do a kitchen remodel on our hundred yr old house, after researching many companies. They did major structural and foundation work, rebuilt walls and a roof, in addition to the final interior work. We worked closely with the project manager, omri, who was fabulous ! Also pablo, and his crew were all very professional and communicated well. During our 3-month remodel we encountered numerous issues and city delays none of us could have predicted. But between us all we were able to put our heads together each time and figure out the best solution on how to proceed. In the end we now have a beautiful dream kitchen, even better than we ever imagined!

I had such a great experience with indigo remodeling! I was looking for companies that could do home remodeling and had found indigo through a friend of mine. I was having a difficult time finding a good contractor that really saw the vision I had for my home while staying within my budget, however with david everything was superb. he was very patient with all the questions I had, were very friendly to deal with, and had good customer service. They were able to give me a timeline on how long the remodeling would start and what would be done first, last, and in which weeks. I was very impressed and would definitely recommend them to my friends or hire them again if I need to remodel.

After meeting with several contractors and getting several estimates. I decided to go with Indigo Remodeling because they were highly recommended by a neighbor who had used them for their renovation. Their price was very fair and I liked their proposal which clearly had everything itemized. david renovated my entire kitchen. It came out better then I hoped and under my budget. We were able to knock down walls to open up the units beautifully. I would highly recommend david . He is worth the wait.

What an exceptional contractor. David and his team thoroughly overhauled our two-bedroom apartment - they sanded and revarnished the floor, retiled both bathrooms and put in new cabinets, refaced the kitchen cupboards and painted throughout. They got it all done quickly and to a very high standard indeed. Everything is beautifully finished and we are delighted with the work. David gave us tips on paint and tiles, picked up materials while we were away, and helped us save money in various ways. He phoned or texted us almost every day to keep us updated on the work, was very responsive when we contacted him, and generally went out of his way to give us what we wanted. We would heartily recommend Indigo Remodeling to anyone for any type of job.

david and his crew just completed some substantial drywall repairs and a complete interior repainting for me (5 rooms, 1000 square feet with high walls and ceilings). I couldn't be more pleased with the work. It looks amazing, which was not easy because there were 8 different colors involved. The work was done as promised, on time, with attention to detail. He had a big crew there each day so the job could be done quickly. There is another house on the property that will soon need a complete interior paint job, and I'll only be making one call.

We worked with indigo remodeling to build my business location and they delivered 2 weeks ahead of schedule provides us with a quality job. 4 weeks later I hired them to remodel my house and same results, on time, quality and professionalism. I moved into a two-bedroom condo and our designer recommended indigo remodeling general contractor for our major renovation projects. david, came in, listened to all our needs and specificity notated our request. We had a complete estimate for everything within only a few days including cost and time frames for: hardwood floor install in both rooms; hardwood floor repair for the rest of the apartment; tile install for the foyer; fireplace tile surround plus fireplace repainted; entire condo repainting, including ceilings and; complete kitchen remodel. indigo remodeling was able to accommodate with all architect's drawings, all subcontractors and permit running service. The work was done on time and within budget, even with the inevitable surprises that always come up during renovation. indigo crew was punctual, always respectful and very neat.

Me and my wife finally decided to renovate our bathroom in our house in Lincoln Park. We met with David, he was very passionate about his work and he had a great ideas. The remodeling was fast and clean.

It is not easy to find a contractor that is trustworthy, delivers on budget, on time, and with a high quality of craftsmanship and Indigo Remodeling and David and his team met all of this criteria. David, Omri and the entire Indigo Remodeling team was a pleasure to work with. They are professional, courteous and do great work. As a business owner myself I know how tough it might be to find the right people to work with. There seems to be a variety of companies to choose from, but you wouldn't know until you possibly run into complications. When services are aimed for a higher standard, the whole process might be a little stressful... I chose Indigo from a few contractors I met with for an estimate for a condo that I own. I felt comfortable that I could trust the level of expertise I could observe during our meeting. And I was not disappointed! I contacted Indigo Remodeling to switch out a ceiling fan, two small lighting fixtures, a large lighting fixture, and a small track light. Firstly, the communication was clear and helpful. David and the team had communicated when they would be there, the site-specific challenges he was facing with my outdated electrical wiring, and the way he was going to address those challenges. Adjusting for the scope of work, he was very accommodating when he returned to complete everything, efficiently and with great care, the following day. The oddness of my particular electrical arrangement allowed them to creatively and expertly make the new fixtures work in a space where they weren't designed to. This was entirely his initiative, too. He could have given up, passed me along, but I'm grateful he did not! Couldn't be happier with the completion of my project :)

I used indigo remodeling to complete a bathroom renovation in which I enlarged my tiny bathroom. I was completely satisfied with the results. the Owner, david kept me informed of every detail going into the work. he even texted me daily to inform me when the crew was set to arrive. he was just as enthusiastic as I was about designing my new bathroom, and was flexible when I found items to add to the project on my own. he kept thorough records of all of our conversations regarding changes made and costs, which he sent to me via email. his crew was courteous and professional. My house is pretty old, so there were some knicks and cracks made during all of the pounding and drilling. However, they made sure everything was repaired and put back in order at the end of the project. They cleaned up daily before they left. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. My finished bathroom is fabulous!! The price was VERY reasonable. I would highly recommend this company, and plan on using them again for other projects.
